We packed a big update into this build. Think of your phone as a clubhouse: we painted the walls, fixed squeaky doors, and added new signs so you never get lost. Pick why you came When you join (or jump into Settings later), you can say if you’re here mostly to meet new friends or to grow friendships you already have. The app listens and lines things up behind the scenes—like choosing “new game” vs “keep playing the same adventure.” “Your People” grew up Your list of important humans now has three tidy sections, easier cards, nicer menus when you hold your finger down, clearer hints (“here’s why this matters”), and a calmer flow when you finish onboarding—reminders moved so nagging pops up where it belongs. Today’s cards got smarter The Today tab looks at who you’re texting—not random noise—and picks better next steps when it’s time to open a chat or keep a promise offline. A new sparkly thing: Friendship Crush If you tap that you kind of like someone—and they feel the same—there’s now a clearer path forward (find your crushes and turn mutual ones into real connections). People tab: fairer discoveries Finding people feels fairer (things get mixed up more, not stuck on the same few faces forever), picks can stretch a little wider nearby, there’s often a See more when you hit the edges, filters got friendlier, and wording fixes (“Recently Active” shouldn’t confuse you anymore). Waves easier to spot Tiny fixes so badges, incoming waves, and alerts from push behave—so you shouldn’t stare at ghosts or zombie notifications. Every day, one thing: a reflection, a message, a ritual check-in, or a day of the 7-Day Practice. New in v3: Your People gives you a private record of your most important relationships. Friendship Rituals let you create standing commitments with real accountability attached. The Friend Coach gives you personalized guidance when you're not sure how to show up. And the 7-Day Practice builds the friendship habit one day at a time. Waves and discovery are here for users in cities with amiqo community — but the daily practice is the front door. Active Now, amiqo Moves, gift coins in chat, and a tighter engagement loop. - Wave accepted → start the chat — When you open a chat from a wave accepted notification, conversation starters can open automatically so you’re not staring at an empty thread. - Last active stays honest — Sending a message now updates your activity so “last active” on profiles lines up with people who are actually chatting—not only when a specific tab is open. - Active Now — See who’s been active recently near you (and, when you allow it, people open to virtual hangouts). Wave right from the list. Open it from the sparkle on Connect. Settings → Discovery lets you opt out of showing up in others’ Active Now while keeping the rest of the app the same. - amiqo Moves — On Profile, a weekly theme and a daily move—small real-world prompts you can affirm when you’ve done them to earn coins and progress. Swap for alternates in the same theme. - Quests & streaks — Quests are front and center on Profile with daily check-ins, more awardable actions, and streak milestone rewards. Weekly challenges stay available without crowding the main profile card. - Gift coins in chat — Long-press someone’s message (not yours) and choose Gift coins—pick an amount, send a system line in the thread, and they get a notification. Daily limits apply to keep gifting fair. - Polish — Active Now refreshes more reliably when you come back to the app; amiqo Moves and quests are streamlined (including retiring a gratitude quest that didn’t fit how people use the app).

A clearer Connect default, and a home-screen shortcut that actually opens our exit survey. - Deleting? Tell us why — Long-press the app icon on your Home Screen and choose this shortcut to open a short exit survey (about a minute). It’s meant for people who are about to remove the app and want to share why. The shortcut is defined up front so it can show up right away, in line with how the system menu works. - Survey that opens reliably — Tapping the shortcut opens the survey from a cold start or when returning from the background, with early handling so you’re not dropped on the home screen with no form. Signed-out responses are supported when you’re not logged in. - Connect — distance when you’re open to virtual — If Open to virtual hangouts is on, Connect now defaults to any distance instead of capping at the nearby metro radius, so you see more people who are a fit for how you hang out. You can still pick a specific distance in filters anytime.

Richer waves on Connect, chat photos you can open full screen, and a faster way to tell us why you’re leaving. - Incoming waves — A clearer card on Connect shows who waved, with wave back, view profile, and a review all path when you have several. Review opens as a full-screen list you can swipe through with page dots, so the queue isn’t cramped in a small sheet. - Chat photos — Tap a photo in a thread to view it full screen. From there you can save it to your library or copy the image. Long-press still works for reactions and message actions. - Notifications — Wave-related alerts are routed more reliably when you tap them, and important wave reminders are less likely to be throttled by generic limits. You may see a digest when you have multiple pending waves. The app can also surface a gentle update banner when a newer build is available. - Trust & safety — Plan activity can be restricted for accounts that shouldn’t host or join (enforced on the server). New-account checks now use the right signup dates so review and protection actually run for recent profiles. - Quick feedback — Long-press the app icon on your Home Screen and choose Quick feedback to open a short exit survey (optional reasons and notes). It doesn’t replace deleting the app; it’s an extra way to reach us.

Safer community, smoother onboarding, and more reliable picks. - Safety — Stronger automated checks on profiles and messages to catch spam and scams, with stricter enforcement so bad actors are limited faster. - Onboarding — City step now continues correctly into the rest of setup. Sign out is available from the onboarding header if you want to restart. The “talk for hours” freeform step is removed from onboarding; you still set intent and life stages, and can add interests and your story on your profile later. Your Interests section always shows on your profile with Add interests when it’s empty. - First Wave & Connect — Daily picks respect who you want to meet and distance / virtual preferences on the first screen after onboarding, with fixes so the list doesn’t get stuck reloading and incompatible people don’t slip through after you finish setup. - Chat — Autocorrect is turned back on for the message field so typing feels normal.

New Connect experience, richer chat, streaks you can read at a glance, and smoother keyboards. - Connect — card deck — Meet people in a full-screen, snap-to-card flow with a clear bottom bar (name, distance, interests, and more). Wave from the card; tap the card to open their profile. Incoming waves use a compact banner; tap it to see full wave cards in a sheet so the deck keeps most of the screen. - Connect — filters — Filters are simpler: Distance, Age range (pick one or more bands, or Any age), Reason for joining, and Life stage. Your FILTERS chip shows a short summary when something's active. Behind the scenes, daily picks can surface a much larger pool so the deck stays full. - Chat — Reply from a long-press (with quick reactions and Copy). The composer is updated: ideas (sparkle icon) live inside the field, Send when there's text or a photo, and a searchable emoji picker from +. Tappable links in messages. Quiet-thread nudge after 48 hours without messages; empty DMs show a profile card for your match. Smoother scrolling when loading history and sending messages. - Streaks — Mon–Sun row, freeze forgiveness, and a single streak modal for both "info" and celebrations—aligned with live data so the week matches your count. Layout and readability fixes on small phones and on the celebration screen. - First wave reminder — About 24 hours after onboarding, if you haven't sent a wave yet, a one-time notification can open PLANS to nudge your first match. - Replies (data) — Thread replies show as a quoted preview (one level); long-press for actions. - Plans & challenges — Unlimited-size plans show ∞ spots instead of "0." Weekly challenges no longer assign post tasks; they line up with plans and what's actually in the app. - Polish — Onboarding "talk for hours" field and Create Plan stay above the keyboard; Create Plan copy says Plan (not Activity); location suggestions fit above the keyboard; street addresses no longer double in the location field after picking a place. Bottom tab labels stay on one line; chat keyboard dismisses more naturally when you scroll.
