Raglan Planner
Top-down knitting plans
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Enter gauge and measurements—get a step-by-step raglan plan and charts for round or V-neck. Save projects and pick up where you left off.
Raglan Planner helps you plan a top-down raglan sweater from your own measurements and gauge—not a pattern catalog.
Enter your swatch, body measurements, fit preference, and neckline choice. The app calculates stitch counts, increase rows, and raglan shaping, then walks you through each stage with clear steps and knitting charts.
WHAT THIS APP IS FOR
• Top-down raglan sweaters sized to you
• Accurate stitch and row counts from your gauge
• Fit options: fitted, semi-fitted, loose, or oversized
• Structured steps: collar/ribbing, raglan increases, back lengthening, sleeve separation, body
• Visual charts for collar, back, front, and sleeves
• Round neck and V-neck options
• Multiple projects—save progress and your stopping row, then continue later
• Metric (cm) or imperial (in), with many interface languages
WHAT IT IS NOT
• Not a library of finished patterns from designers
• Not a substitute for learning basic knit and purl—you should already be comfortable knitting in the round or flat
WHO IT’S FOR
• Knitters who love (or want to try) top-down raglan and want the math done for them
• Anyone tired of decoding multi-size pattern columns on paper or PDFs
Save your measurements, follow the steps at the needles, and focus on knitting—not arithmetic.
Plan. Knit. Wear.
