The latest update now brings the 360° experience to the app, allowing you to explore abandoned places as if you were actually there. You can now upload your own 360° photos and enjoy immersive images shared by other users. Feel free to check out the app — a few experiences are already available. In addition, the activity page has been redesigned and improved, and the detail view has also received an update. Have fun with the new version of Forgotten X.

From now on, you can also save locations before sending them for review. This allows you to create locations for yourself while on the go and edit them later with additional information.

A new filter has been added to the list view that automatically displays the 20 nearest abandoned places in the surrounding area and can optionally hide already visited locations. The help overlay can now be disabled directly if it is not needed. In addition, the selected map type can be saved permanently, if desired.

When creating new abandoned locations, the position can now be selected directly on a small map, eliminating the need to manually enter GPS coordinates.

In this update, the route planner has been improved and now includes its own destination search. We’ve also fixed an issue when creating abandoned places. A big thank you to Yvonne for the helpful feedback!

With this update, we’ve added a new help system to the app. On all key screens, you can now access help that explains what you see on the screen and what each element is for.

Great update for all users: • You can now save your own secret places directly in the app. These locations stay only on your device and are never shared publicly. • A new announcements section keeps you informed about important news and updates – right inside the app. Pro version: • The search for abandoned places and addresses on the map has been significantly improved. • Export secret places to back them up or share them with your closest friends.

Pro version: The map search has been improved – it now first looks for abandoned places and only if none are found, it automatically performs a keyword-based address search.

Pro feature:  • Instantly translate place details and comments into your language – perfect for users who don’t speak German or English. • Map view improved: A clear info message now shows if a filter is active or only your own places are being displayed, so you always know why some spots might not be visible.

Forgotten X now supports English – both in the app interface and for many Lost Places. The tip feature has been revised to better support development and app support. In addition, the app now starts faster.
