I want to like this app more, but the developer has left it for beginners only. For Japanese, there is a mandatory pronunciation system that cannot be hidden and is a real detriment to learning and retention at the higher levels. I think all the elements of the widget should be customizable, specifically hidden or revealed, and for Japanese in particular the choice of using kana or romaji should be left to the user. Once that is implemented, I believe this could be a fantastic app. For future releases, the ability to import word lists from external sources would also be incredible.

It would be great if there was an ability to export mastered words.

Exporting mastered words is a great idea and is already on the roadmap so you can more easily review your progress or use those words in other tools. This kind of feedback really helps decide what to prioritize in future updates
