Welcome to version 1.50! This one is a big one! NEW FEATURE: ITERATE Iterate is the quickest, most convenient way to iterate and build your formulas using the Jean Carles method! Iterate on a pre-existing formula, or create from scratch. Adjust your values for each material, and add your notes. For example, "too much Amrboxan". So you remove some Ambroxan, and hit "Iterate". This creates a new version! You can always go back to other versions and iterate until perfect. Once finished, hit "Finalise", and the formula will be finalised with relevant information, such as category breakdowns and IFRA compliance. It's so convenient and fun to use, I'm sure you'll love it! The app is now fully ready for iOS 26, iPadOS 26 and MacOS 26 too! If you're using any of these Betas, you'll notice the new stunning liquid glass effects across the app. Don't worry, if you haven't updated yet or don't intend to, the app will still work perfectly from iOS 17 and up. iCloud syncing is now even quicker, working almost instantly as soon as you open the app! Some minor improvements are also present in the main ingredients page, with better categorisation either with the Pyramid system or alphabetically. In the settings menu, you'll notice two new things; a "Tutorial" button (which will be coming soon!) and an Email button. Here, you can sign up for the new monthly newsletter! Hello all! Only two minor improvements in this version, with something big on the way. Firstly, the iCloud status monitor has been removed from all pages and is now neatly away in the Settings view. This way, your view will be less cluttered and feel cleaner. There has also been a bug fix where sometimes your data would not sync across devices. Now, for version 1.5 there will be a big new feature added, hence the significant version number. This is a feature that has been requested and should greatly improve how perfumers write their formulas. It's new, exciting, and something I think you'll all find very useful! To reflect this, you may see that the price of the app will increase slightly. I have also been preparing the app ready for iOS 26, iPadOS 26 and MacOS 26. With the new Liquid Glass elements and new way of managing icons, the app will look fantastic, and by getting everything ready in time for the official launches in September, the app will work from day one. Don't worry, if you don't want to update your operating system, the app will still look and work exactly how you expect. Stay tuned!

We're Back! Hello! Firstly, I'd like to apologise for the lack of updates. I've been extremely busy with my University finals over the past few months that have naturally taken priority over this app. However, I've now submitted my final submission and now have time to work on this! This version is only small, but has some significant improvements. The Mac version is now fully working, and a bug has been fixed where users couldn't delete aroma chemicals, categories, or tags. Now, to delete an item, simply right click to open a new context menu to delete chemicals. A bug has been fixed across all versions where previous formulas may have used a chemical, preventing the users from deleting a chemical used in this formula. However, an error existed where even after the formula was deleted or the chemical no longer used, users would still face an error preventing deletion. This has now been fixed! The UI also looks a bit tidier on both iPad and Mac, now with the iCloud Sync Status Indicator moved to the settings page, rather than constantly being displayed across different pages. PLEASE BACK UP ALL DATA BY PRESSING "Export CSV" Added support for automatic iCloud syncing. Your formulas, ingredients, categories and custom tags will sync between your iPhone, iPad and Mac! Fixed bug where deleting an ingredient used in an existing formula crashes app. You now have to remove the ingredient from the formula before you can delete. Updated add chemical sheet in formula view, so you can search and find chemicals easily rather than have to scroll through a drop down box.
