This has made a big impact in my walk with Jesus lately. You can jot down your notes during the sermon, and it automatically creates an outline and even generates questions based on what you wrote, which has been super helpful for reflection and small group discussions. It also has some cool features for digging deeper into the Bible—like context tools and cross-references—so it’s not just a notepad, it’s more like a companion for understanding Scripture better. Didn’t think I’d stick with it, but it’s become part of my Sunday routine.

Amazing with room to improve

This app is fantastic. Transcribes very accurately. I love the devotional feature. It takes the stress off of focusing more on note-taking than actually listening to a sermon. The app is clearly made for sermons not just speeches in general. The AI identifies key concepts, breaks up a sermon into sections, and offers different types of layout (full summary, study guide, discussion guide, and a practical application guide).This is quite an arsenal. In Live mode you can add footnotes that are time-stamped. And it has a whole built-in Bible to refer to so that you don’t have to leave the app.SUGGESTIONS:1. More Bible versions. Only has ESV, KJV (not NKJV), and ASV. While the church I go to uses the ESV it would be nice to at least have NIV and/or NRSV. Everyone has their preferences but more variety would be great! 2. An alert if recording stops on its own. Critical alerts will stop the recording. I suggest using a Focus mode that nothing can bypass when you are recording to avoid this. 3. Ability to correct mistakes. While speech to text is great it isn’t perfect, and as the user I need to be able to edit something that was incorrectly transcribed preferably in Live mode. Most of the time these mistakes are corrected during actual processing but not always. 4. Automatically delete “umms” and “uhhs” and bridge the gap between long pauses. Not sure how many of these are viable but for $5/mo it’s great.

Great point - some interruptions (like phone calls) are unavoidable due to iOS limitations, but we'll add an in-app tip to help you minimize them.3. Transcript editing + a post-recording cleanup pass are both on the roadmap and coming soon!4. Great tool for sermons, but needs export options

I really love how Sermon Scribe lets you record sermons and automatically creates a summary, outline, reflection, and application. It’s such a helpful way to process and revisit what was shared. The Bible study section is my favorite part — it gives great context, keyword insights, and interpretations that help you dig deeper into Scripture.That said, I’ve had a few times where I thought it was recording and it wasn’t, which was really disappointing. The biggest downside though is that you can’t export anything other than the audio. You can’t share or save the outlines, notes, or reflections outside the app, which makes it hard to integrate into personal study or share with others.It’s like having a meeting app that takes amazing notes — but won’t let you send them anywhere. If they add reliable recording and export options, this would easily be a 5-star app.

Really good app

I’ve just tried this with one sermon so far and the weekly review and reflection in the app is a game changer. I love the review, sermon highlights and quotes. They make it easy to create notes in my bible. I have found that the live transcription needs a little more work and I really wish I could upload an arrive from a Facebook live video (reason for 4 stars). However, when working from a recording, the app really shines, creating a beautiful transcription, outline, and summary. After that the devotions for the week really keep me in His word and help me understand and really reflect on what has been taught. Hey—any chance of a referral program? I’d love to share and get a month or three free for referring my friends and church !! All in all, it’s a good app!!
