In this update; Broader Emergency Coverage: We've expanded our emergency activity coverage to keep you informed about even more critical situations. User Experience Improvements: Various enhancements and fixes to provide a smoother, more reliable experience.

This update includes several improvements to the user experience, making it easier to navigate the app and access critical emergency information when you need it most. We've also refined the interface for a smoother, more responsive feel.

Environment on the map A new Environment tab brings tornadoes, earthquakes, and volcanic activity onto the map. Watch volcanoes live with camera feeds where available. And if you’ve turned on notifications for your places, you’ll get alerts when tornadoes threaten those areas. Food safety The new Food tab shows official food recalls and safety warnings for your country (and saved cities), as clear nationwide pins, so you can spot relevant recalls. Smarter map chrome Sharper hazard icons, clearer pins, and a cleaner filter experience so Environment and Food sit alongside your existing alert layers.

Numerous design improvements and performance optimizations. Major update for residents of the Netherlands or the ones who travel there: Now you can see all emergency activities in real-time in the app, and also get notified about the activities near you if you are interested.

Now you can choose to receive instant emergency alert notifications for any city worldwide. Stay informed about earthquakes or local emergency alerts as soon as they occur.

Now Ward notifies you for emergency alerts, wherever you are and whenever it matters. This version features the world emergency alerts map. Every emergency alert that is issued by official organizations worldwide is accessible.

General fixes and improvements

Two new features are here: Emergency Supply Kit and Hazard Guides, both in a new tab named Library. The Emergency Supply Kit Checklist helps you keep track of the supplies you need and maintain your preparedness. It allows you to add an expiry date for the food you store and includes a checklist with notes to ensure you don’t miss any important details. The Hazard Guides section comprises a collection of documents and guides designed to assist individuals in various emergency situations. We will continuously update and expand this collection to ensure its completeness and relevance over time.

Major improvements on the map. Find and save shelters faster and easier.
