Wally now makes the most of bigger screens. On iPad and iPhone Duo, your list sits on one side and the details on the other, with the tabs in a rail. Fold the Duo shut and your streak, Settings and the add button move into the bar beside the screen. You can also set the time of an expense, not just the date, which helps when you log something later. And renaming an account now takes its transactions, budgets and saved cards with it.

Auto-logging got a round of fine-tuning. Wally now confirms each payment it logs and tells you when one needs a quick check. Pick the account for a card once and its next payments save themselves, and a payment that only shows $ or ¥ now takes the currency of the account it lands in. You asked for a subscription tracker, so we built one. Canceled shows every subscription you pay for, what it costs you over a year, and how to cancel the ones you don't use. It's its own app: find it in Settings under More from us, or search for Canceled on the App Store.

You can now log amounts under 1. Tap 0 or go straight to the decimal key, then type the rest. Before, the keypad wouldn't take a decimal after the zero. Request & Vote on features in Settings opens again. If the board ever can't load, you'll now see a message instead of nothing happening.

The October Tracking Challenge runs all month: log something on any 20 of October's 31 days to earn the badge. They don't have to be in a row. It sits beside your streak at the top of Home. Tap it to see the month as a calendar, with the days you've logged and how many you can still skip. Wally opens faster, saves faster and takes up less space, both to download and on your phone. The more you've logged, the bigger the difference. Opening the app no longer starts a second copy of it in the background, which is easier on your battery. Delete a transaction and it now leaves the account's history too, so the balance there adds up. Archived accounts stay archived when a repeating payment lands on one or you delete something from it. Reminders and budget alerts keep to your local time. Before, reopening the app at the wrong moment could set one for the wrong hour. Change the app's language and your transaction list switches its number format right away, not after a restart.

Move an expense to another category and the money moves with it. The category you took it from gives the amount back, the one you moved it to takes it, and both budgets land on the right number. Edit an amount, or switch an expense to income, and your account balance follows the change instead of staying where it was. One budget used to show three different numbers: one on the Budgets grid, another on the category, a third on the category rows in the entry screen. There is one calculation behind all three now. Step back a month and you see that month's spending. Your home screen widget picks up a new expense instead of holding the balance from before you logged it. Open a weekly budget on Monday afternoon and that morning's expenses are inside the week. They used to fall outside it. Open a transaction, tap the dots in the corner, and you can duplicate it for a purchase you make again. The amount, category, account and note come over, dated today. A repeat schedule does not, so copying a subscription gives you one transaction. Joining a household with an invite code no longer stops halfway. It completes or it doesn't.

VoiceOver and TalkBack read a whole sentence now: "Expense, 35 euros, Groceries", instead of four pieces you have to put together yourself. Amounts are spoken as money, so €25 is "25 euros" and not "E, U, R, 25". Budgets, balances and charts say what they mean out loud. A chart that used to be silent now reads every slice. Turn on Reduce Motion and the app stops animating. Your milestones sit right under the streak number now, the ones you've earned and the ones still empty. Challenges show up on the money screen while they're running, with your progress and the days you have left.

Tap to pay with your phone and the purchase lands in Wally, ready to check or already filed. The app can now lock behind Face ID or a fingerprint. Budgets have one chart: what's left, and how fast it's going. Log something each day and you build a streak. New categories ask three questions. The rest sits under Advanced. Household categories use the same screen as your personal ones. We redrew the home screen widgets.
