HOW THE GAME WORKS
Backgammon (also known as tavla, nard, or tabla) is a classic 2-player dice board game. Each side has 15 checkers and rolls two dice. You move toward your home board, hit your opponent's exposed checkers to slow them down, and bear off all 15 to win. Single, gammon, and backgammon scoring are all built in.
ANONYMITY-FIRST
You don't have to give us anything to play. Username, profile picture, and signing in with a social account are all optional. By default we use a device ID, so your stats and friends list stay with the app — no email required.
FREE TO PLAY, FAIR TO PLAY
Free to play, with unlimited games. Optional rewarded ads earn you power-ups; in-app purchases are optional. Game analyses and tournament entries are paid with Sparks, which you earn by winning Boosted games.
SAFE COMMUNITY
Chat moderation is built in: block, report, mute, or leave any conversation. Reports are reviewed by our team. An age gate keeps the app appropriate for its audience.
