How do you Order Wine?

I go to a restaurant. I get steak. Why? Because I know what steak tastes like, and you like that taste. Then, I open the “wine menu” - a literal book filled with names, years, prices, and locations. None of these descriptors help me discern the taste of these beverages, let alone if those tastes will appeal to me. What do I do instead?Well someone one time said red wine goes with steak. That narrows it down by about 50%. The “types” don’t mean anything. Will my dinner partners consider me more sophisticated if I say “Pinot noir” or “Chianti?” “Sancerre” is a big word. By now, the waiter has returned, so I roll the dice and put my finger on the 4th choice under “Red” in the book - vintage, region, and flavor notes be damned.With WineFind, you can order wine like you order food - based on what it tastes like. I don’t usually leave reviews but I came across this app and am blown away. I love the “scan” feature but honestly no app has perfected it besides winefind. It’s unbelievable how well it works!! I get tasting notes, reviews, info on the winery. This app is by far the easiest way to learn about wine
