Play Spades online, your way. Choose JJ22 (Joker Joker Deuce Deuce, also called JJDD), JJA (Joker Joker Ace), or Traditional Ace High and jump into live Spades games with friends, crews, bots, or Spades players from around the world.
Built by a real Spades player with 25+ years at the table, BooksMade Spades is made for the way people actually play Spades. From the Big Joker down to the Power 2s, JJ22/JJDD is handled right, and Traditional Ace High is built in too.
==BOOKSMADE SPADES FEATURES==
SPADES RULESETS
Play Spades your way with three full rulesets: JJ22/JJDD (Joker Joker Deuce Deuce), JJA (Joker Joker Ace), and Traditional Ace High. CREW, Solo, and Spades HQ support all three; Ranked Spades runs JJ22/JJDD or Ace High.
CREW MODE
Get a Spades game going with any number of friends. Bring one friend, two friends, or the whole crew, and let bots fill any open seats — no waiting around for a full table of four.
SPECTATE MODE
Watch live Spades games without taking a seat. Invite friends to spectate, follow every bid, book, and big play, and stay connected to the table in real time.
TABLE CHAT & VOICE CHAT
Bring real table energy to every match. Table Chat gives you text, blurbs, and reactions in eligible games. Premium Access members can go further with Voice Chat, talking live at the table in CREW and League games.
RANKED SPADES
Climb the ladder in competitive 2v2 Ranked Play with ELO-based matchmaking against Spades players at your level.
SPADES LEAGUES
Create and manage your own Spades league. Track standings, rivalry stats, and event history for every member of your crew.
LEAGUE TOURNAMENTS
Run single or double-elimination bracket tournaments right inside your league. Results roll straight into your league standings, so every tournament becomes part of your Spades league's history.
SPADES HQ SCOREKEEPER
Keep score for in-person Spades games with a dedicated scorekeeper that tracks books, bags, nils, and penalties — no more paper and pencil at the table.
SOLO SPADES
Sharpen your game anytime by practicing Solo against BooksMade bots, using whichever Spades rules you want to train on.
PLAYER STATS
Track your Spades career with wins, losses, ELO rating, streaks, and full game history.
FREE TO PLAY
BooksMade Spades is free to play — no coins, no pay-to-win. Play Spades free with ads, or subscribe to Premium Access for a fully ad-free experience — including while you spectate — plus premium emojis, expanded chat phrases, and Voice Chat ($1.99/month or $14.99/year).
Whether you are keeping score at the cookout, running a CREW game with friends, watching the table in Spectate Mode, competing in a league tournament, or grinding Ranked for bragging rights, BooksMade Spades brings the full Spades experience to your fingertips.

No other app on the market allows you to play the Joker-Joker-Deuce-Deuce (JJDD) rules in spades like Books Made does. For those unfamiliar with JJDD rules, the app also offers standard ‘Ace high’ rules for the classic style of play. You can create leagues too, which allows for custom rules, game invites, score tracking and chats for trash talk. If you’re on the fence, this is a great game and for anyone looking to get smoked at the table, download the app and step up!

Amazing App!
TheDopestEthiopiannnnn
This app really has all of the things I'm looking for in a spades app. You can chat with your partner, play with bots, randoms or friends, start leagues and even bid together with your partner vs on your own. I also love how you're able to toggle between JJDD and Ace high as well as adjust the rules to how you and your friends play to avoid confusion. Gives very much custom, very demure! 10 out of 10!

I’ve played a few other apps and this by far is one of the best. Game play, competitive action, and bugs, which are minimal, are addressed asap. Really solid app!
