The most private browser for iPhone. Every tab is completely isolated: separate cookies, storage, and its own IP address from 40+ global proxy servers. Built by Mysk, featured on TechRadar.
BROWSE THE WEB IN SILOS
- True Tab Isolation: Every tab is its own “silo” with separate storage, cookies, and even IP address.
- Per-Silo Proxy: Assign any of our 40+ global proxy locations to each silo - place one in Canada, another in Germany, a third in Brazil, and more.
FAST, NO-LOG, PRIVATE PROXIES
- Global Proxy Network: Access 40+ high-performance proxy servers worldwide, and no logs are ever kept.
- Built-in Security: Automatic HTTPS upgrades, DNS-level tracker blocking, and more — no configuration required.
ALWAYS-ON, SELF-CONTAINED, PRIVACY
- Silos never share data and are always connected to our proxies, so you’re protected without having to remember a VPN switch.
- Psylo does not interfere or change your system's settings or other installed VPNs — all protections live inside the app
ANTI-TRACKING BEYOND A VPN
- Deep Integration: Psylo’s proxy network and browser work together to block fingerprinting that VPNs can’t offer.
- Smart Location Spoofing: Psylo matches your system's locale and timezone to your proxy’s location, preventing a common tracking method that would reveal your location even with a VPN turned on.
- Content Filtering: Block ads, cookie banners, app-install popups, and other web annoyances.
- URL Tracking Cleaner: Automatically strips tracking parameters from URLs as you browse.
PRIVATE WEB APPS
- Ditch native apps: Use web versions (PWAs) of X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and enjoy Psylo’s full privacy protections.
- Multiple accounts: Run side-by-side instances without cross-tracking.
EPHEMERAL AND PERSISTENT MODES
- Persistent Silos: For long-term browsing and web apps.
- Ephemeral Silos: Auto-purge on close for one-off sessions.
NO-FRILLS, PRIVACY FIRST
- Zero Web3 tokens, no AI agents — just privacy.
- Detailed SSL/TLS certificate viewer
- Search Engines: Set a default search engine or add your own custom engines.

DISCLAIMER
While Psylo provides robust, built‑in protections against tracking and fingerprinting, no system can guarantee absolute privacy. Tracking technologies and countermeasures are constantly evolving. Mysk strives to continuously update and enhance Psylo’s protections to keep pace with new methods of tracking.
I do thing tab isolation at this level is good privacy feature, but compared to other free privacy focused browsers I just can justify a subscription. I know stuff like this takes time which requires money but I’m not sure how many people out there are willing to pay for a browser, especially if they are satisfied with the level of privacy already offered by others. Overall I hope to see this grow, but just can see myself paying for it

Hello! Thanks for downloading Psylo. We understand subscription pricing is an issue for many and we're discussing alternatives to offer Psylo at a cheaper price, though we still haven't settled on what that could look like. Great idea but expensive

The Psylo concept is really brilliant. However, several points prevent me from subscribing. The price of $10 per month remains psychologically a barrier for me and probably for many other users. An entry price of $3-4 would allow wider adoption. Privacy should be a human right and not depend on income. I understand the team needs to make a living but $10 per month is too much for me. The concept deserves to be accessible to as many people as possible. The ergonomics are average: impossible to easily create a widget to access your silos. You have to manually copy the link then create a shortcut by hand. For a power user it's fine but it lacks practicality for the average person. The UI/UX is also improvable. It would be great to be able to use Psylo as a regular web browser without a subscription. With its anti-fingerprinting advances, it would already be the best privacy-oriented iOS browser, even without the proxy network. One question bothers me: when Psylo is set as the default browser, do webviews from third-party apps also use the silo system? This would be important to clarify. For now, I won't subscribe to the service due to the price, but I'll closely monitor the project's evolution as the team clearly has the skills to revolutionize private browsing on iOS.

Hello, we appreciate taking the time to try out Psylo. Sorry to hear that you decided not to subscribe for the time being. We’re still in the early days of Psylo and we’ll continue to improve it. Hopefully we can get to the point where we can lower the price for everyone as we grow.To answer your question about setting it as the default browser: Psylo cannot affect the WebViews in third-party apps, so they wouldn’t get the anti-fingerprinting protections of Psylo. This is why we recommend switching from native apps (such as X, Instagram, etc.) to their web-based versions in Psylo and enjoy all the privacy protections it offers. We hope we win you back as a customer in the near future. Feel free to reach out anytime on X, Mastodon, or Bluesky.
Expensive. Unethical developers.

I initially wrote a review giving it 3 stars because, despite the expensive price and annoying yellow block saying your subscription expired, you could still use the basic offline features (which don’t cost the devs any money) with your own proxy or none at all. Days later they updated the app and completely blocked all basic features unless you pay $11/mo. There was no mention of this in the changelog. They basically tricked people into updating and took away 100% of the previously free features. I’ll be deleting all of my comments on social media recommending this app for privacy, and I’ll mention that the developers are unethical and untrustworthy any time I see the app mentioned.

Hello. We’ve always been clear that Psylo requires a paid subscription. We’ve never advertised or offered a free tier, although it’s something we’re still considering for the future. The ability to continue using custom proxies after a subscription expired was a bug, not an intentional free-tier. That’s why Psylo displayed the yellow subscription expiry banner. This bug was fixed in version 1.3.0 along with many other issues and improvements. We don’t try to mislead or trick our users, so we don’t think it’s fair to characterize our actions as unethical. If you have concerns or questions about how Psylo works, we’re always happy to discuss them in good faith.Original reply:Hello! Thanks for downloading Psylo. Problems Solved

As an early adopter, this is the first time I feel Psylo is complete. I feel the app is smother now and looks amazing with Liquid Glass and solved a major issue I was having with the last update, and even added a couple features I wanted. I can’t recommend this app enough. I’d go as far as Psylo should be on every iPhone.

Hello, we’re deeply sorry for the connection issues you have experienced lately. There was a bug affecting version 1.0.5 which should be fixed in the latest update. If you’re still experiencing connection issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to support@mysk.coWe want to take care of each one of our users, and especially our early adopters who placed a lot of trust in us.
Psylo 1.3.1 focuses on strengthening privacy protections and improving reliability.
Privacy
• Fixed a potential IP leak through the WebTransport and WebAuthn (Passkeys) JavaScript APIs. These APIs are now disabled by default for all silos and can be re-enabled individually from the Advanced section of each silo.
• Fixed a potential DNS leak caused by DNS prefetching via HTML link tags. DNS prefetching is now completely disabled.
Improvements
• Fixed an issue that could cause content filtering and ad blocking to work unreliably for some users.
• Added an option to manually re-download content filters if one or more filters fail to download.
• Updated the TLS certificates used for Psylo Server certificate pinning.
• Minor wording improvements on the subscription screen.
