Cooking timers just got better! • Follow countdowns on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island on supported iPhones. • On iOS 26 or later, enable alarms to hear when time’s up—even while your iPhone is locked, in Silent mode, or using Focus. • See a clear warning when alarm access is off, with a shortcut to manage it in Settings.

v2.15 includes updates to the timer and how it appears on the lock screen. NomNom is also dressing up for Halloween.

Cook with confidence using Cook Mode. Follow step-by-step instructions, check off ingredients, and adjust servings as you go. Set multiple timers from any recipe—or start a quick timer right from the home screen. Timers save across app launches and can alert you when they’re done, even when the app is in the background. We’ve also refreshed the welcome tour to help you discover RecipeNest.

Save recipes from websites and Apple News+ with a clearer confirmation when they’re added. Cook Mode makes cooking easier with large, step-by-step instructions, a screen that stays awake, and checklists for ingredients and steps.
