This game is deeply fun. The stories are well written. I really like the subscription model over buying gems. I love the texting between chapters, it makes it feel very immersive and like my choices actually matter. I normally hate AI, and I like it in this and that’s so deeply annoying. If you want to feel like the main character of a well written (but a little tropey) of a story try this game. The cons: it’s AI responses in the texting. I am grappling with the environmental impact regularly, but also my one app is nothing compared to the waste of use many others have. With the AI often you have to word things so specifically for it to move on to the next chapter making your conversations sound absolutely insane. For the developers: please let me reread chapters with the same choices I made. Chapters are getting released sometimes weeks later and there is no recap or ability to reread things to know where I was in the story.

I was skeptical about this app at first. I’ve been in love with the Choices app for a long time. And every time I’ve ever tried any similar apps, they just never seem to be as good. But Choices has really, really gone downhill in the last year or so. I’ve grown rather tired of it and it’s cheap AI writing. So when I came across this app, I really wanted to give it a try. I absolutely love that it’s just one simple monthly subscription price. No complicated gems or the simplest decisions that cost an arm and a leg to unlock. Just one flat fee and you get the whole story. I also really like that you get to text the characters in between chapters. It gives the story a much more realistic and personal feel to them. My one and only qualm though is that there just aren’t enough stories out right now. I am quite the bookworm and I tend to read a lot in one sitting. having to wait a whole week just for the next chapter to come out is a bit of a bummer. I might unsubscribe for a couple of months until a good amount of new chapters come out. But I think it has great potential. The stories are actually interesting, it doesn’t feel like it was written with flat, boring, lifeless, AI. It’s really, really cool. I am very glad I checked it out. And I can’t applaud enough over the flat monthly fee vs the crazy expensive cost for keys and gems like these other apps have.

The good - I absolutely love the writing. It's surprisingly good especially compared to most interactive stories. The writing alone almost makes up for the negatives I have, almost being the operative word. The animation style is gorgeous. I also think the price for membership for a year is a really fair price comparatively to similar apps. The bad - I don't like that there isn't an option to reread a single chapter or start from whatever chapter you choose. If you mess up or want to change something you have to start completely over. It's irritating and disappointing. However the absolute biggest issue I have with this app and potentially the reason I'll most likely end up having to delete it - there's zero customization. You can choose your name and that's it. Personally that's a huge no for me. It defeats the purpose of choosing an interactive story over traditional reading. You don't get to truly put yourself in the story without being able customize. I'm hoping that'll change in the future but if not I'll probably move on to something that's more interactive. At the bare minimum being able to choose your race, hair color, and eye color would make a world of difference. But as it stands now I've only gotten to read one story because playing/reading without basic MC choices fully takes me out of the story. Lastly, it seems to take a while for releases to drop but that's not unbearable.

This is quite literally the best interactive story game I’ve played, and that’s coming from someone who’s played Episode for the last five years. I also recently tried Enjoy AI, which was pretty good but still nothing compared to this game. What really sets it apart is the stories feel extremely immersive and they blend a mixture of static storytelling with interactive movement gameplay. Every chapter keeps you wanting more and I really like that you can truly make choices that will affect the outcome. The only critique I would say is agreeing with some of the other reviewers, it would be nice to see more diversity in the characters you get to play as. Overall to the developer, please keep doing what you’re doing and please do not ever add in app purchases. Keep it just the way it is! Looking forward to exploring more.
