I played several runs of this game, one with each specialization, and I can definitively say that this is a really well made game. The sound design is excellent, the writing is impressively free of typos - the only ones I noticed were in the first chapter - and the characters are interesting. It tells a good story, albeit one with a character who is not the brightest and fails to connect dots even when someone quite literally etches the line between them. The other characters are dynamic and fun and I wouldn’t have minded seeing more of them. However, it is not a choose your own. I played it several times, and while there are a few different endings, all the roads I took led me there. The specialization options are flavor text rather than making any kind of difference, and while it has the illusion of choice, none of the choices I made actually had a significant impact on the characters or story. You can say whatever you want in part one and the result will be the same. This continues throughout. I would rephrase this to be marketed as a visual novel or something similar rather than a choose your own. It’s a bit too railroad-y for that title at present.

I’ve spent days playing through this game and it has had so many twists and turns. Some of the puzzles were a bit too complicated (at least for me) and I guess this game is so new that you can’t even look up tutorials 😭(which I tried) There were a lot of spelling mistakes which I can understand but it gives the game less of a professional feel and more of a “I typed this right before it was due”. Also, the ending was a bit unsatisfying. Although that could just be because of my own choices lol. But I kind of hope there can be like a sequel of some kind so we can know what happened to all the other characters. The characters were so interesting, the story literally mad me gasp multiple times. I definitely recommend. The demo had me itching for more I didn’t even mind paying for the rest. And with the amount of gameplay you get after paying it’s honestly more than worth it. LOTS of reading, wish I could see some actual illustrations of the scenes described but I get that it’s probably a design choice. Which they made work! I really appreciated how the screen got darker when something more sinister was taking place or was being realized. A nice touch to immerse yourself in the game. Made me question life, very good, thank you game dev

To begin, I am not one to play these type of games. I do not enjoy reading, and this game consists of more than that than you could imagine. (And i am guilty of skipping some of it). But what I did read, left me wanting more. More of the story, and as someone who easily predicts plot twists. It wasn’t until the last chapter, where I pieced things together. So it truly was a mystery, and some great writing. I will say, some of the dialogue is redundant and unnecessary. I wish I had more choices in some instances, but I suppose it all comes down to the stats you choose. As I could see a replay, to see how things would unfold differently. You definitely have to think carefully before following through, and even then I would make dumb decisions. In conclusion, a great game, with a lot of words, and different endings and outcomes based on the decisions you make. I enjoyed it as someone who normally wouldn’t.

I found this randomly while scrolling through the AppStore. What followed was one of the best psychological horror experiences I have encountered in recent memory. The pacing and sound design create this mysterious aura that’s hard to describe. Even though it’s a text based game I was fully engaged the entire time. I don’t want to go into major spoiler territory but the story kinda reminds me of Mental Gear Solid 2 in a weird way. I strongly recommend anyone reading this to just hop in and play it for yourself. It’s only a short demo but is still a very enjoyable time. I feel like this is a modern classic in the making. I hope with every fiber of my being this game gets finished. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!!
