New in 2.0: Groups! Invite family and friends and see each other on the map while you hike. You choose when you share – and it stops by itself. MyMapPoints Now you can save your secret locations in a safe and secure place, track your hikes, and see where your family and friends are on the map. Keep track of your best fishing spots, record your hiking routes, remember where you found mushrooms or berries, or store any special places you don’t want to forget. NEW in version 2.0 – Groups Create a group, invite family and friends by username, and see each other live on the map. You decide when you share: turn sharing on or off per group with one tap and choose how long it should stay on. Sharing keeps working with the screen off and stops automatically when you close the app or when the time runs out. Pick your own colour, map icon and display name so your group always knows who is who. What do I get? Groups: create groups, invite members, and see each other on the map while sharing is on. Full control of your privacy: sharing is always off until you turn it on, and it expires by itself. Track your hikes: Record your routes, distance, duration, and elevation directly on your device. Save your personal locations securely, locally on your device or in the cloud. Add images to locations stored locally on your device. Examples include mushrooms, berries, fishing spots, firewood, plants, herbs, cabins, hikes, hiking destinations, and more. Preview your hikes and routes with a 3D “fly-over” view. Look around: explore the terrain in 360-degree 3D at any map location. Use the app completely offline, without internet access. Display elevation (altitude) data. View and copy your exact position in geographic coordinates. 3D map view. Route planner: create your own routes and save them. Detailed 14-day weather forecast for your saved locations. Languages supported: Norwegian and English. Plus version includes: No advertisements. Exclusive group avatars – vikings, knights, samurai and more. Faster position updates in groups, so your members see you move in near real time. Share your position for longer – up to 24 hours per session instead of 8. Upload and store images with your locations in the cloud. AI-powered insights: Get detailed trip and hike information using artificial intelligence. Ask questions and receive smart, context-based answers. Image analysis: Use “What is this?” to analyze uploaded images and get contextual information. Tap on mountains, lakes, landmarks, and sights to get detailed information. 5 offline maps instead of 1. 3D “fly-over” preview of route directions and your own tracked hikes and routes. Unlimited tracks. A free account is required to create or join groups. EULA: https://www.hiot.no/eula.html
