Easy Reps version 4 introduces support for cardio workouts, along with numerous interface improvements and quality enhancements for a smoother, more versatile experience. Cardio support: • Added time-based and distance-based workouts • Create running intervals by setting distance per set • Track time-based exercises like battle ropes • History and personal records now include cardio metrics, with best times and distances displayed alongside strength achievements • Completed cardio sessions fully contribute to overall workout statistics Routine and exercise management: • Home screen now displays the full list of exercises in each routine instead of just a count • Simplified exercise editing interface: rest timer and controls always visible, add/remove set buttons for easier adjustments • Streamlined exercise type selection and added support for distance and time inputs • Exercise name and type fields now include clear titles Exercise library and addition: • Muscle groups always visible at the top when adding or viewing exercises • Cleaner exercise list with preview images on the left • Filter button in the top right for equipment, category, or difficulty level • Muscle group diagram relocated to the bottom of exercise detail pages for immediate access to instructions • Primary muscles highlighted in accent color, secondary in gray for better distinction • Fixed missing categories for approximately 200 exercises and added instructions for another 200 • Expanded library now exceeds 1000 exercises with improved coverage across all types • Exercise list cards now show primary and secondary muscles Workout experience: • Rest timer selection uses a clean dropdown • Updated active timer interface for consistency (enhanced appearance on latest iOS versions) • No confirmation prompt when canceling an unfinished workout with no sets completed • Pause and resume buttons during active workouts are now large and clearly labeled • Completed workout text color automatically adjusts to chosen background • Simplified text overlay options with straightforward type and weight selection Plate calculator: • Completely redesigned with visual representation of plates to load on each side • Adjustable bar weight, instant pounds/kilograms switching • Plus/minus buttons or direct weight entry Additional refinements: • Consistent button styling across all pages • Settings page simplified with focused options • Theme colors improved for visibility in light and dark modes These updates make Easy Reps faster, more intuitive, and better suited for both strength and cardio training.
