Alternatively, if you’re in a hurry, enjoy a quick round of Beat the Clock and see how many points you can score in a variety of timed scenarios. You can even challenge your friends with a Duel and see who can find the most points. Magic Word Search includes a log of the words in the extensive bank you’ve found, as well as how many times they’ve been picked out, and uses a point system similar to Scrabble. You’re allowed to maneuver forward, backward, up, down, diagonal, and even backtrack over previously highlighted letters to pick up new connections, creating plenty of chances for elaborate words and super high scores! Nice, I unlocked the IAP to make this ad-free. The timed game mode is fun. The only issue is the buttons are too tiny/too responsive to neighboring letters. Even using the Apple Pencil it will accidentally select neighboring letters I did not mean to pick. If that is improved I could see myself opening this app frequently as a quick time filler.

Finding all of the possible words is an interesting challenge, and then struggling to get the letters connected can be frustrating at times, but incredibly rewarding when it all comes together!

If often skips over traced letters and other times it grabs letters you don’t want it to grab. If I weren’t such a masochist, I would uninstall this game.
