Track barometric pressure today and forecasts anywhere.
Barometric Pressure Offline turns your device into a powerful barometer, altimeter, forecast, and pressure tracker. Check today’s barometric pressure, follow changing trends, explore upcoming forecasts, and keep a personal history wherever you go.
Live pressure and altitude readings come directly from your device sensors, so the barometer works even when you’re offline. Perfect for hiking, sailing, travel, outdoor activities, weather tracking, or simply understanding how atmospheric pressure changes throughout the day.
Key Features:
▶ Offline Barometer & Altimeter – Measure barometric pressure, sea-level pressure, and altitude directly from your device sensors without an internet connection.
▶ Pressure Forecast – See what’s ahead with interactive forecasts for Today, 72 hours, 7 days, or 16 days. Explore hourly pressure values, daily minimums and maximums, pressure tendency, and predicted rapid pressure changes.
▶ Pressure Change Alerts – Get notified when your device detects a significant pressure rise or drop, or when rapid changes are predicted in the upcoming forecast. Control barometer and forecast alerts independently, and tap a notification to jump directly to the relevant reading or forecast.
▶ Siri & Shortcuts – Ask Siri for pressure readings, forecasts, history, summaries, notes, and upcoming pressure changes. Use Shortcuts to access Barometer actions and build pressure tracking into your own automations.
▶ Spotlight Search – Find Barometer readings, forecasts, history, and other relevant content directly from Spotlight, then open straight to the corresponding reading, chart, or forecast.
▶ Migraine & Headache Tracker – Add notes to your pressure history and compare changes over time with migraines, headaches, joint pain, asthma, arthritis, or other pressure-sensitive symptoms.
▶ Pressure History – Look back at previous barometric pressure readings, trends, altitude measurements, and personal notes to better understand how conditions have changed.
▶ Export Your Data – Export pressure history and notes to CSV or JSON for your own analysis, records, or comparisons.
▶ Widgets – Keep current barometric pressure, recent history, trends, and forecast charts visible from your Home Screen and Lock Screen, including enhanced chart widgets and a portrait forecast layout.
▶ CarPlay Support – Check relevant pressure information while using CarPlay, with improved support for quick access on the road.
▶ Designed for the Latest Apple Platforms – Enjoy resizable layouts, enhanced widget appearances, clearer charts, improved navigation, and a responsive experience across supported screen sizes.
No account is required, and your sensor history stays on your device. Fresh forecast data requires an internet connection, while downloaded forecasts can remain available when you’re offline.
Whether you’re watching today’s weather, tracking an approaching pressure change, checking altitude on a hike, preparing for time on the water, or keeping a migraine and headache log, Barometric Pressure Offline puts the information you need in one clear, easy-to-use app.
Track pressure now. Understand the trend. See what’s coming next.

Firstly, this app is exactly what I've been looking for to help me track barometric pressure, notice past trends as they correlate to my migraines, and get alerts for the future so I can hopefully prevent migraines before they start. There is an incredibly reasonable one time fee, which is SO refreshing to see in an app these days, which I was more than happy to pay for. Secondly, I had some minor difficulty figuring something out, so I contacted the developers, who replied WITHIN MINUTES with a kind, detailed, helpful response, that immediately fixed my issue. I don't think I've ever written a review for an app before, but between the nonpredatory, easy-to-use app interface and the clear dedication and care the creators have for their app and its users, I just had to sing their praises here for a bit. Please, if for any reason you're considering this app, especially the pro version, BUY IT and support these lovely people!!

Works, could use more features

It works fine, but is spare on features. I’ve tried a few barometer/altimeter apps, but I always end up comparing them to Bar-o-meter, which I’ve used the longest. I like that Bar-o-meter, in addition to just showing the pressure reading from the internal pressure sensor, also shows the GPS altitude, an indication of the current relative GPS accuracy, the sea level pressure from online weather maps, and the predicted altitude from the difference between the measured pressure and the sea level pressure. Unfortunately, its reading of the internal sensor stopped working when I got my 16e. It would be nice to have another app with similar functionality, but I get that you’re aiming for this one to be fully offline. One suggestion would be a self-adjusting vertical scale for the pressure trend graph so that you can see finer changes. You also have a typo in “deteriorated”. It might be nice for the notification threshold to be user-selectable, too. Finally, I think $10 for the pro version is too much considering how much I will be using the app. It’ll mostly just be interesting during plane flights.

Hi Adreitz,Thanks for the review. As you stated, our idea is to have a fully offline barometer without requiring any internet access. Right now, we show both the altitude and the sea level pressure which is calculated using the device’s internal sensors, everything happens on device there is no server involved at all. You can use it 100% offline. We loved that you have shared several feature requests, we are taking note of all of them.It would be nice if you can contact us via `Settings -> Contact us` inside the app so we can exchange more ideas. We would love to see what are the use cases of the required features:- The typo it’s already fixed for the next release.- The notification threshold to be user-selectable. We would love to see what would be the use-case for this one in contrast with the default 4-6hPa change.- Not sure what would be the use case of seeing even smaller changes in the chart. But taking not of this too. Finally, regarding the price. We are a team of 2 entrepreneurs (developer & designer). Taking into account that an analog barometer costs about $20~100 (and only has 1 feature), we think that $10 lifetime is a very fair deal (even cheaper than the analog ones) with lots of more features (different measure units, historic charts, export data to CSV, bad weather alarms, customer support, etc). Thanks for the review again, really appreciated. Regards, Pablo.
Perfect app, recommend for POTS/EDS/Hypermobile tracking
Reads in bed.
This is a perfect app. First it’s pay once not a subscription and not expensive. Second it does one three things I need without other distracting/annoying extras: 1 record the barometric pressure, 2 warn me of sudden changes up or down and 3 it lets me export the data so I can overlay it against my health or other data. Oh! And it has widgets!! I wish more developers would do single need apps.

Pressure to Bar(e)
Epictimewasting
*Updated*Experience was disappointing for me. I was glad to discover an “offline” barometric pressure access and altitude app and for free at that, through the promotion (that’s always a nice and yet often under appreciated gesture and imo a smart way to get the word out about your work). However, after onboarding the app blurred out data readings with a “motion data access needed” screen but with no explanation or direction to resolve it (iOS 18.5, iPhone 11). After time spent exploring settings options (trying this and that to enable it) in vain, I gave up and deleted it in disappointment. Further still, I noted that the app description in store wants access to your financial data, something that I haven’t seen too often in apps that I explore or use, prioritizing security and privacy over brand and developer where possible. Transparency on what data you are in fact surrendering and to whom it is given is a legitimate consideration. This reviewer tends to be suspicious when apps go free, have rushed or incomplete menus or onboarding, but want financials. In this case, it was asserted that only Apple has access to that data- probably so… so don’t let me spoil the barrel. Having said that, offline functionality is an enticing attraction but the breakdown for me came in the lack of clarity as to enabling the access the app needs to function. I still don’t have that info and as such I cannot rate the app’s merit or efforts sufficiently or objectively. As they are a two man developer team, I can respect the effort but if I can’t use it yet..

UPDATE: We’re happy to clarify and give you the info you need on the permissions and any other questions you might have. Please kindly contact us directly via Settings > How does it work > Contact Us.——Hi, and thanks for taking the time to share your experience. To clarify: the app does not access your financial data in any way. That assumption is simply incorrect. The mention of financial permissions in the App Store is due to the presence of in-app purchases (handled entirely by Apple). We have zero access to your payment info — that’s fully managed by Apple’s system, not by us.As for the “motion and fitness” permission — this is required by Apple to access the iPhone’s barometric sensor, which is the entire foundation of the app. We don’t use or collect motion or fitness data. We don’t track users. We don’t send any data anywhere. The app is fully offline and private. We built this app specifically for the sailing community, where offline tools are essential. It’s disappointing to see a 2-star review based on assumptions that don’t reflect what the app actually does. We’re a small indie team — just the two of us — and reviews like this really hurt our chances of reaching the people who might actually benefit from what we’re trying to build. If you’re open to revisiting the app with that context in mind, we’d truly appreciate it. Either way, thanks for checking it out.
▶ Now available on iPad.
▶ Use the app in portrait or landscape on iPhone.
