A subscription fee? Really?

I’m sorry, but a subscription fee for an app, that is self-proclaimed to be completely offline and on-device (which is good), is just greedy (and unethical) on the developer’s part. If the app is running 100% on-device, there are no infrastructure costs to maintain that could even remotely justify a subscription fee. Subscription culture is out of control.
