On an aesthetic level, this app is exquisitely designed and absolutely gorgeous, from the obviously beautiful art that aligns with the practices, down to the smallest details of coloring, shading, fonts, and layout. Navigating it is a sensuous delight. It feels appropriate that the richness of the tradition is reflected in the richness of the app. On the level of content, in the short time I’ve been using the app, the practices have been powerful and effective. I appreciate having not only the longer, more contemplative practices but also the shorter ones that can be done throughout the day, facilitating all of life to be the path—even, and especially, the unique ones.

There’s no shortage of meditation apps out there that offer “morning dosages of mindfulness.” And many of them are good! This app is stunning. From the meditations, to the aesthetic, and the ease of use it brings so much joy into my life. I love it so much that it’s made its way to the bottom bar of my phone between messages and music. The instructions for each meditation are clear and striking, and I love the recommended method of practice (you’ll see there’s a clear way to develop meditation skills through directed and recommended sequencing of the meditations). It’s amazing that this app is so new and still in development, excited to see it grow, transform, and reflect the beauty of my spirit right back to me.
