• Accents are optional — "cafe" counts for "café", and the correct spelling is still shown
• German umlauts can be typed as ae, oe, ue
• Japanese: type kana, kanji is not required
• Korean: spacing is ignored, since you can't hear it
• Chinese: type in Simplified or Traditional, with any pinyin or zhuyin keyboard; 他, 她 and 它 count as the same
