ATrans helps you translate messages, articles, and everyday text on iPhone and iPad using the AI provider you choose. Set your preferred languages, type or paste your text, and read the translation as it appears.
BRING YOUR OWN AI PROVIDER
Connect to OpenAI, DeepSeek, Gemini, Grok, MiMo, or a compatible custom API endpoint. Choose a supported model and save provider configurations for easy switching.
TRANSLATE WHILE YOU READ
Use ATrans to translate selected text in other apps through the system translation interface, where supported. Copy the result, listen to it, or replace the selected text with your translation when the app allows it.
AUTOMATIC LANGUAGE SWITCHING
Set your primary and secondary languages, and Auto mode translates between them based on your text. Text in other languages is translated into your primary language. You can also choose a specific target language at any time.
Language options include English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Portuguese, and Arabic.
QUICK CLIPBOARD TRANSLATION
Copy text and return to ATrans to get a prompt to translate new clipboard content. Confirm to start a translation without pasting it manually.
LISTEN TO YOUR TEXT
Read source text and translations aloud with built-in speech, or use AI voices through supported OpenAI and MiMo configurations. Available AI voices depend on your provider. AI audio playback includes pause and resume controls.
FIND PAST TRANSLATIONS
Swipe right to open your translation history. Search source text and translations, filter by language, and sort by date. Reopen a previous session, preview it with a long press, or delete entries you no longer need.
MADE FOR EVERYDAY USE
A focused interface keeps your text and translations easy to read, with streaming results, quick copying, and support for light and dark appearances.
BEFORE YOU START
ATrans is a translation client. Configure a compatible API provider and model before translating, and supply your own API key if your provider requires one. Provider usage may incur separate charges. Translation and AI speech availability depend on your configured service.
