Explore the Coking Plant site with the app and take a fascinating journey back in time. Outside, the tour starts at the big works’ clock. The tour follows the road around to the right when seen from the entrance and makes one full circuit of the site. During the tour, which is a walk of about one kilometre altogether, there are 14 infostations which tell you about what went on here in the past. The first audio commentary at each station gives you the most important information about where you are and explains the context. Other media provide further historical insights. In addition, you can access short infos about individual buildings, machines and other parts of the former plant. Depending on how quickly you walk around and how much you want to find out, the tour lasts between 60 and 180 minutes.
