This app is really simple and sounds great and i have recommended it to a few of my friends, however there could be some improvements to make it even better. An important and basic thing this app is missing is a bookmark feature, which should just be the same as the native apple books app and is easy to implement. Another feature that should get added is a search feature for the book (basically a ctrl f). The developers should also consider adding a pronunciation mechanism for text to speech that would allow you to explicitly define how specific words, acronyms, and most importantly names are spoken by the tts voice. This should be possible by doing a lookup-and-replace step before speech synthesis. What the developers are doing with this app is great, they’re really responsive to the reviews here and i hope they do the same with this one!

Productivity App User
Readify has quietly become one of the more indispensable apps on my phone, so props to the developer for building something that actually works. My wishlist is short but would go a long way: better paragraph handling (the breaks land at odd places and kill the rhythm), a way to mute repetitive chapter headings that keep getting read out, the option to change the highlight color on the follow-along reader, and a fix for the "fi" ligature encoding bug that turns the character into something unreadable. Small things, but they'd take an already solid app to the next level.
