WITH THE ONE-TIME UPGRADE The upgrade removes ads and unlocks four more tools: - File encryption Encrypt, decrypt, sign and verify any file, not just text. - Password-based encryption Encrypt with a shared passphrase when you do not have the other person's key. - Encrypt and sign in one step - Decrypt and verify in one step WHO IT IS FOR Journalists protecting sources. No message or key ever leaves the device. Crash reporting is off by default and you can turn it on or off in settings. The app collects anonymous usage statistics to see which features are used. A NOTE ON OFFLINE USE All PGP work happens on your device and needs no connection. The free version shows a banner ad, which does need one. The upgrade removes ads, and after that the app has no reason to reach the network at all. PRICING Everything above under "what you can do" is free, with ads. The one-time upgrade removes the ads and unlocks the four extra tools listed above. No subscription, no recurring charge.

Idk why the other review is complaining about “it doesn’t encrypt files only text”…. Yea no duh, thats what it literally says via description. If you want one that works on Files it’s literally 2 or 3 apps below…. Naturally that person would need that one and didn’t even bother to read descriptions of the first 3 or 4 apps when searching PGP….It works GREAT for what it is designed for. Ignore the ignorant reviews.

Simple thongs like the “unhide” feature when entering a signature password makes this a very amateurish app. I mean, how can you trust an app with your secret keys if something this simple doesn’t work. There is also no easy method of encrypting and signing a message. Very dissapointing

The new version will fix the interface issues, but I can assure you that even though this is a simple app, it was built with security in mind. None of your personal data leaves your device. If you have specific feature requests, I'd genuinely love to hear them.

An update broke the app but devs quickly fixed. Best PGP mobile app ever!

• The app interface is now available in 20 languages, up from 3. • Right-to-left layout support for Arabic. • Error messages are now translated too; previously the app fell back to English whenever something went wrong. • Fixed a plural bug in the key import message. • The onboarding screen was rebuilt and is now fully translated. • Fixed crashes that could occur when decrypting a message or opening key details. • Fixed an issue where some saved keys appeared invalid and could not be used.
