Pure Cleanup opens on Privacy. It checks screenshots and location information on this device, keeps photos and videos you choose in a protected Vault, and includes Library Cleanup for duplicates, similar photos, and large videos. Nothing in your library is changed or deleted until you choose that action and confirm it.
SENSITIVE SCREENSHOTS
Checks screenshots on this device for content that may include a card number, an IBAN, a wallet recovery phrase, a one-time code, a password or PIN, or a QR code.
Results are shown as potential findings because automatic detection can miss something or flag something by mistake. Review a screenshot yourself before you share or delete it.
Recognized text is not saved. You can also try the feature with a built-in sample image containing fictional data. The sample is not saved to your photo library.
LOCATION EXPOSURE
Shows photos and videos that contain location information. You can select items and remove their location after confirmation.
Pure Cleanup cannot restore location information after it has been removed. If you use iCloud Photos, the change may also appear on your other devices.
REDACT & SHARE
Creates a new copy with detected sensitive text, codes, and faces hidden and with location and camera metadata removed.
You can save or share the new copy. Your original photo remains unchanged.
VAULT
Stores photos and videos you choose to add. The Vault opens with a PIN. After a PIN is set, you can also enable Face ID or Touch ID on supported devices.
Your PIN remains available as a fallback, and the Vault locks when you leave the app.
SECURITY CHECK
Checks whether an email address appears in known data breaches. The email address you enter is sent to a breach-lookup service for this purpose.
Security Check does not run on the device. Sensitive Screenshot, Location Exposure, and Library Cleanup analysis runs on this device.
LIBRARY CLEANUP
Available from the Privacy tab under Library Cleanup.
It can find duplicate photos, similar photos, screenshots, blurred photos, similar screenshots, similar videos, large videos, and screen recordings. It also includes video compression.
Items are changed or deleted only after you select the action and confirm it.
PHOTOS ACCESS
Before the system Photos permission prompt appears, Pure Cleanup explains Full Access, Limited Access, and what happens if you don't allow access.
Full Access lets the app check your accessible photo library. With Limited Access, the app can check only the photos you select. If you don't allow Photos access, library-based features remain unavailable until you enable access later in Settings.
SUBSCRIPTION
Pure Cleanup offers optional auto-renewable weekly and yearly subscriptions. Subscriptions can be managed or canceled through your Apple ID account settings.

As part of this redesign, Swipe cleaning, calendar cleanup, contacts cleanup, contact backup, and email-inbox cleaning have been removed.
