I really like this app. I haven’t read the Bible in too long of a while and I think part of the reason was because I read it like a book. I didn’t take time to really look at and think about each verse. I downloaded this app because I’m giving up social media and was looking for something good that I can scroll with positive feedback. I was surprised because this literally shows the Bible 1 verse at a time. At first I was mildly annoyed because I had to scroll up for the next verse, but as I read it I found myself really taking in each verse without the pressure to move on to the next to finish the chapter. I’ve never read the Bible this way, but honestly I really like it.

I first found this app through scrolling through the threads app and thought it was an interesting idea. It was at its initial release therefore features were little. However, since then the developer has been doing a phenomenal job at delivering a unique experience to reading your bible along with providing neat and useful features. This app has allowed me to read scripture at times in which I don’t want to open my physical book, along with causing me to build a habit of just opening the app,scrolling and not even noticing that I’ve been reading the word. Overall, this app has a great foundation and offers a distinctive way to read scripture.

This app really helps me get closer to God and spend more time with him. I have realized that even though it is the same thing, it is a lot easier for me to get in a habit of reading the Bible on this app than it is in person. The scrolling factor really helps me focus on one verse at a time instead of getting stressed from all the words and chapters on each page. One thing that could make this app better is adding the different translations like NLT as soon as possible but other than that this is the best app I have on my phone and I am very thankful to have it.
