Ricochet Squad is a 3v3 multiplayer PvP hero shooter where physics driven abilities, destructible objects, and vertical movement mean no two matches play out the same way twice. Truly Interactive Forget flat, static maps. Every object in the arena reacts to what you do. Grab a meteorite mid fight, pull enemies into a black hole, or knock them off a ledge with a gravity blast. Heroes have physics based abilities that interact with the environment and each other. The combos you can pull off aren't scripted, they're real. Multi level arenas with vertical gameplay mean fights happen above, below and all around you. Master Your Hero Every hero plays different, so find the one that fits your style. Rush in as a brawler, hold the line as a tank, back up your team as support or pick off enemies from range with sniper. But choosing the right hero is just the start. It's not only about which abilities you use, but how you move and position yourself. Controls are simple to learn but give you real precision and auto aim keeps the action fast while smart positioning wins fights. Squad Up and Rank Up This isn't a solo carry game. Winning takes real teamwork. Combine hero abilities for devastating synergies, coordinate pushes, and cover each other's weaknesses. Matches are fast, just 3 to 5 minutes, so every second counts. Find your squad, experiment with different hero combos, and climb the ranked ladder together. Your Ship, Your Progress Between matches, your ship is your home base. I love this game. With almost over 100 hours clocked in, I would highly recommend this game. I see it as a more complicated brawl stars in a way, but more rewarding. Some things I would like to be issued though:More rewards to rank up characters.I am in Diamond 1 and I’m playing against the highest rank players in the world that have maxed out characters and perks. My characters highest level is 12. All of my characters only have 2 perks at this stage and hours played, unfair. I cannot stress how impossible it is to win a game against people that are a 3 stack with maxed characters and all perks. Aside from having perks than me and my team, they also have more health and dps leaving us at an outright unfair disadvantage from the start. This is more prevalent in the higher ranks but it definitely needs to be addressed.Oh and Cali 100% needs a major damage nerf or range nerf. Or make her invis only last like 3 seconds. She gets a get out of jail free card, faster health regen, high dmg and range. Other than that this game is seriously exceptionally fun with a learning curve and skill gap. Despite being under leveled and less perks I have beaten countless top 100 players while still being at a clear disadvantage.

New update ruined game progression

The game itself is fun with a good gameplay loop but the most recent update raise the cost of nearly everything you buy within game currency. The game was always clearly pay to win, but I didn’t mind it because everything still seemed easily obtainable. Now you will spend weeks and weeks just to get a single character to level 15. And if you wanna play pro mode, you can forget it now., that mode is now reserved for high spenders only, as you will only get paired with level 15 people it’s basically mandatory to have your characters maxed out to be able to play that mode. There is now a huge divide between old players and new players, This update also basically ruins the battle pass. The rewards were already pretty mediocre and now they’re practically worthless with the price increase. That’s likely the last battle pass I’ll buy. If the mindset of this update was to get people to spend more money it’s quite literally had the opposite effect. I likely just play the game casually every once in a while now, as the grind to get into the competitive scene is ridiculous, this update creates a huge barrier to entry now that’s just not worth it. If you maxed out your characters before this update, congratulations you will be able to steamroll all new players for the next 6 to 9 months most likely.

I am a free to play player for the most part. I enjoyed the game at first, however, I quickly realized that the game has a terrible gameplay loop. You are able to rapidly rank up by investing in one character. However, once you get to a certain point you got stomped by players who have level 15 characters. When you’re not getting stomped, then you are queued into bot games which makes the game not fun. You do not have any autonomy in terms of what characters you unlock nor the abilities. It’s frustrating because it feels like the game randoms pushes you to play certain characters. Players should be able to unlock and level up the characters they like or meta if they want to be more competitive. Naturally you think let’s progressing through the battle pass. However, there’s problems with that too because in order to progress the battle pass, you need to complete quest and the quest are assigned to characters that you either don’t have leveled up or you don’t care to play and when you’re completing quest naturally you’re going to lose because those characters are under leveled so you lose rank progression, which is another source of progression. So there’s another source of frustration because then you gotta waste time leveling backing up. Now, if you’re considering buying gems to finish level up a character, you realize that the company is so greedy that they don’t even give you enough gems to completely buy a battle pass or resources you want. Leaving short 10 gems or so. Overall, this leads to a terrible gameplay loop and it makes a game un enjoyable because you’re stuck without making much progress, you can unlock any new characters and on top of that you can’t even play the characters that you wanna play because the game gives you random resources characters that you don’t even play.

You're free to focus on one hero, though higher ranks naturally demands better team coordination and mastering multiple heroes which usually takes tens or hundreds of hours. The quests can be skipped, and it's also possible to earn a free Battle Pass every two months by saving gems. Cons: no option to turn off autofire. Matching system is all kinds of off (u can be a day 1 player already matching up with a top of the leaderboard player). Loading a match does not guarantee playing with irl player and will quickly load a match with bots oppose to waiting for a human to join (no way to get around this even with more players). Bots will sabotage and also throw a game (you could be carrying the match and then the bots will decide to just hang back and watch you get ganged up on at the last match point). Pro?: although the matching system is immensely unfair the game is still a tad fun (what’s the point of a ranking system if you will be match with someone far higher?). It isn’t worthy of much of your time but it has potential to demand it should they address the above and some of the player feedback on discord. Also the characters are all creative and unique. With that said remedy isn’t much of a support character and needs to be reimagined (her utility is useful-ish but not in a bots “hands”). Camera angles are great because it changes per character you decide to use (slow clap:)

Game Economy Update • Gem packs now contain 25% more gems. • Around 70% of gems are earned through gameplay, not purchases. • Hero upgrades for levels 6–15, perks, and cosmetics now cost more. Critical shots from perks now work correctly for Leo, Vector, and Fury. Destroying an anomaly in Power Ups matches now always counts. We also improved server performance.
