Exchange a quick “huhlo!” or friendly "fart" with matching drivers as you pass — automatically, through your car’s speakers.
huhloWave is a tiny social moment on the road. Pair your vehicle, turn waving on, and when another active huhloWave driver in a matching car comes nearby, you both hear a short audio wave. No tapping. No names on a map. No chat. Just a friendly nod in sound.
HOW IT WORKS
Sit in your vehicle, sign up, and create a profile. Enter your VIN so we can fill in make and model, then pick the Bluetooth name of the car this iPhone is connected to. Choose the wave sound you send. Turn Waving on before you drive.
When two active profiles with matching vehicles are close enough, huhloWave plays the other driver’s sound through your car audio. You hear what they picked. They hear what you picked. That’s the whole exchange.
BUILT TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY
• Waves fire automatically — you don’t touch the phone while driving
• Works only while this iPhone is connected to the vehicle Bluetooth saved on that profile
• If you aren’t connected to that car, waving waits. No waves in the coffee shop on headphones
• Anonymous: no display of who waved, no visuals of the other driver
• Multiple profiles (up to five) if you drive more than one vehicle — only one is live at a time
WHO YOU WAVE TO
Tesla drivers wave with any other Tesla. Other makes match the same model, with a few common family matches (for example Wranglers, F-150s). The more of your community that’s on huhloWave, the more often you’ll hear a huhlo.

Pick from a set of built-in wave sounds — from a cheerful hello to something a little more ridiculous. Preview anytime. Climb a retro-style leaderboard based on waves exchanged, and report a display name if you ever need to.

2. Create your profile in the vehicle (VIN + that car’s Bluetooth)
3. Select your profile so waving is on
4. Drive. If another matching huhloWave driver is nearby and active, you’ll hear it
huhloWave is free to download. Occasional ads help keep the lights on.
