Toybox is a hand-crafted showcase of SwiftUI animations and Metal shader experiments — a small sandbox where each screen is an interactive visual idea you can open, run, and play with.
Open the app and you're greeted with a list of screens. Tap one and a self-contained piece comes to life: cellular automata, generative patterns, particle waves, mosaics, badge animations, the Apple logo reimagined, and many more. Every screen is a single, focused experiment built with modern SwiftUI and, where it makes sense, custom Metal shaders.

Experience a curated set of Metal shader effects instantly — no install required. Open Toybox directly from a Safari Smart App Banner or a shared link and the effects run immediately. Included: Stable Fluid, Flow Distortion, Kuwahara Filter, Progressive Blur, Mosaic, Julia Set, Smooth Min, Circle SDF 2, and Voronoi Diagram.
Deep-link routing (new)
Every screen now has a unique URL. Tap a link from Safari, Messages, or any app and land directly on that effect — whether the full app or the App Clip is installed.
Under the hood
Each screen is now its own Swift Package Manager module, so Xcode Previews work per-screen without building the whole app. Shared assets have been consolidated into a dedicated module, trimming overall binary size.
