This app is great for getting some sub-five-minute history lessons. It recommends various events each day and offers quick reads allowing you to get an overview of what happened. It also includes a link to the relative Wikipedia article if you want to learn more. The weekly quizzes are fun too!

As I read the stories… not sure where to begin… looks great!
Love the stories but the female voice is annoying

The story starts and you get captivated by the information. But then the story turns into a conversation where one voice is deep, soft and easy to follow, and the other one is high and sometimes feels she’s joking and unable to keep a sentence smoothly without having brakes, trying to find the the next word. I wish the app would give me a choice to select because I definitely do not want to listen to two people chatting . A story is told by one person.

I thought it would be full of videos of historical events, but it’s more audio, which is extracted from notebookLM by Google. The same voices that notebook gives you to make a podcast out of your uploaded documents is the same voice as use for these historical lessons that are an audio format. I get that for free as a student via Google if I upload the right website or PDF.
