I just downloaded the game today, i adore nekopara but for some reason as im going through the game, simply clicking on events and proceeding through the story, it keeps telling me to reopen the game because of new data. Ive reopened the game about 6 times in the past hour. I already dropped some money and id love to see how this game really is and how it turns out but as of right now, I’m pretty dissatisfied with how often its forcing me to close up the game and reload. Are there any tips for this? Im sure ive downloaded all the data at this point, it just keeps doing that whenever i try to open up certain tabs, up to like 3 times in a row per tab.

First, I don’t know why they released this on an English app story without defaulting the language to English, it was a pain to figure out where to go to change the language from Japanese to English. Second, good luck staying connected to make any progress. I’ve tried WiFi, I’ve tried cellular data, but I still lose connection randomly. It took me 3 views of the beginning before I could finally get past it and roll, and then I got disconnected because I clicked the “rates” button to try and see which neko’s are on banner. That resulted in me losing my rolls and having to start all over again from the beginning. After finally finishing my rolls and moving on to the first neko’s story, I got disconnected in the middle of it. This app is poorly designed, I’ve never had this sort of issue with any other gacha. Weird how this game has so many 5 stars, all the 1 star reviews are hidden, and some reviews were posted before the game even went live. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

first of all, i’m a big nekopara fan — have been for around 3+ years, and i was super excited for this to come out! however i didn’t expect it to be so incompatible with the english ver. some places didn’t open when i tried (the rank, the cafe (just froze my game)) and the screen would randomly get smaller as in not showing the full character skill video and it’d cut it off. i tried playing in japanese, and i had none of these problems. none. it’s clear to me the developers didn’t test the english version thoroughly, which i think is irresponsible as they already advertise english as a playable option. FURTHERMORE, there’s many typos and even mistranslations (Rach instead of Reach, Donuts instead of Donuts, YouWin (screen title text) instead of You Win, etc.)… i hope they can fix these bugs soon. i really enjoy nekos

i tried really hard to give this game a chance because i loved the nekopara franchise since high school. but its clear good smile does not know what to do with this game or how to handle it. this mobile game is so bare bones when it wants to work. it’s unfortunately a buggy mess and it’s shocking to have waited 7 years for this game that clearly needed more time to be worked on or at bare minimum playtested. the final straw was waiting for the first event today to find out in order to get the cute idol versions of the la soleil nekos, you have to pay $30 to $60 dollars per neko. no banner to pull from. just NekoWorks and Good Smile demanding money for their poorly running mobile game. You’re better off buying the actual visual novels for way less money and more fun. I really hope they do better with this game but I unfortunately see it hitting EOS before next year.
