The Weather Recap shows you how accurate those forecasts actually were — for the places you care about.
By comparing past forecasts with real observed conditions, the app helps you understand how reliable the weather has been in your area over time.
Overview at a Glance
See a rolling view of the past 7 completed days alongside today and the next 7 forecasted days. Actual conditions and predictions are clearly labeled and easy to compare in simple, scrollable layouts.
Accuracy Tab — How Good Were the Forecasts?
Review forecast performance for recent completed days, including temperature, wind, precipitation, and snow accuracy. Compare how forecasts performed when issued 24, 72, or 120 hours in advance. Only fully completed days are included so the results remain meaningful.
Composite Accuracy Score (0–100)
Each location receives a daily accuracy score based on recent temperature and wind performance. Scores update once per day after the previous day’s weather is complete, giving a clear signal of recent forecast reliability.
Powered by Trusted Weather Data
Forecast and observation data are provided by Open-Meteo, a global, privacy-focused weather platform. Accuracy is calculated using stored daily snapshots so results remain consistent and auditable.
Lightweight, Fast, and Private
No accounts required. Locations are stored on-device. No personal data is sold or shared. Designed to be transparent, efficient, and easy to understand.
This update adds more detail to recent weather summaries and improves monetization:
• Minimum temperature (Tmin) added to yesterday’s synopsis and accuracy views
• Overview tab now includes charts alongside tables
• Additional banner ad placement for better layout and stability
• Minor bug fixes and data consistency improvements
