Wordventure: Kids Vocabulary
Learn words with pictures
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Wordventure is a little town full of words. Walk into the zoo, the pet shop, the supermarket or your own kitchen, tap anything you see, and hear what it's called.
Every scene is a hand-painted picture packed with real things to find: lions and giraffes, a puppy and its ball, bread, milk and a pineapple, a fridge, a sofa, a toothbrush. Tap one and it lifts out of the picture with its word, how to say it, and its meaning in your own language.
LEARN WITH PICTURES
• Tap to learn — every object in the picture is a word waiting to be heard
• Say it — answer out loud and Wordventure listens and checks
• Spell it — hear the word, then type it letter by letter
• Words you miss can be kept as flashcards
A TOWN TO EXPLORE
• 9 places on the map: zoo, pet shop, farm, hospital, supermarket, park, school, restaurant and home
• Step inside the house: kitchen, living room and bathroom
• 33 levels and 200+ everyday words, from first nouns to trickier ones
• Dark mode turns the whole town into a night-time scene
FLASHCARDS THAT COME BACK ON TIME
Saved words return on the day they're due, at growing gaps: a day, two days, four, a week, two weeks. A few minutes a day keeps them fresh.
LEARNING ENGLISH OR CHINESE
Learn English words, or switch to Chinese with pinyin and a Find it mode for reading characters. Meanings can be shown in English, Chinese, French, German or Spanish.
