WHY PLO PREFLOP IS DIFFERENT
PLO preflop strategy has almost nothing in common with Hold'em. Four cards means 270,725 possible starting hands instead of 169, and equities run much closer together — big pairs lose most of their preflop dominance, while suitedness, connectedness, and card pairing drive hand strength.
