I was surprised how capable this app was after buying the Magsafe grip. But it's missing some things that prevent me from replacing my other go to pro movie app and replacing it with this one. -First one is WB presets. This app needs to have the quick, easy way to select sunny, cloudy, shade, fluorescent, and tungsten. Other apps will have this. -The microphone needs a way to adjust the sensitivity. It's not enough to recognize an external mic, the user needs a way to adjust the levels of the audio, both when using an external mic and when recording with the internal microphone. -Finally, I'd like to see the stabilizer improve. I can't see much difference. My preferred app has a much more robust stabilizer with options. Some of the options have a delay, but this is acceptable. I filmed an interview with this stabilizer and viewers of this clip think I used a gimbal.
Good, some glitches affecting iPhone

Used this app for the Retrova kit. Was confusing at first but in order to use telephoto lens you need to select the telephoto option on, otherwise picture is upside down. Second once you use any manual features on this app it will bug out the native iPhone camera app, one such cinematic mode on iPhone native camera app stops working and some slow downs on native camera app; a phone restart required. Otherwise once these software glitches are fixed, great app.

I bought the Magcam and like to use it with the app. However, I can’t get the themes applied no matter what I do. My phone is IPhone 13. Another feature missing is the face recognition: many times I asked people to take a picture of me - all of them were wowed by the hardware and the interface but the photos were just out of focus.

Very nice filters and a very fun handheld to use with the retro style physical device, but it does drain the battery while it’s on use. There are some bugs when you use it and to get around them, I was able to uninstall and reinstall the app to get the language back to the right setting. Exposure previews are not always real in the preview I noticed.
