1. Redesigned Settings, permissions, support, About, and purchase access screens with clean silver and dark finishes. Layouts adapt to portrait, landscape, and different screen sizes, and Settings reopens at the top. 2. Fixed Hide Screenshots in the album so newly saved and existing photos remain visible. 3. Added breathing room between the recording slider and control dial, and fixed a crash that could occur when starting a video. 4. Added Purchase & Lifetime Access. On iOS 16 or later, verify your original App Store purchase. This version remains a paid app with all features available. 5. Refreshed the introduction and permission guidance. Check permission status in Settings and open system settings to manage access. 6. Reduced duplicate shutter requests. The photo count now updates after a successful save. If a Live Photo’s paired video cannot be saved, MistLens attempts to preserve the processed still photo. Album asset loading has also been improved.

1. Keep shooting with fewer interruptions: smoother photo capture and video start/stop, with Black Mist, film color and image quality preserved. 2. Open your album and browse older photos faster, with less repeated loading. 3. Load film looks faster and spend less time waiting when opening the camera or changing looks. 4. Fixed an occasional unwanted photo when starting video, and improved quick stop-and-restart recording.

1. Kodak 5207 and 5219 are back to their original colors: warmer and brighter. 2. Fixed some films crushing shadows to black and turning dark warm objects, like wood floors, purple. Shadows keep their detail, and CineStill 800T and ETERNA now get clean teal tones. 3. Fixed the lens switching between 0.5x and 1x on its own when shooting up close. 4. Fixed the level indicator going the wrong way when holding the phone sideways with Portrait Orientation Lock on.

1. New ColorPop: keep only the colors you pick and turn everything else black & white. Choose any color with the system color picker and drag to adjust the threshold; pick none for pure black & white. Black Mist glows only on the kept colors. 2. New original film "Harbor Night": green shadows, amber lights and crimson reds, while faces stay clean and warm. Best at night or in warm indoor light with Black Mist. 3. Black Mist upgraded: lamp shapes stay crisp inside a larger, softer glow, and white objects no longer bloom into a blown-out haze. 4. All 17 color films recalibrated to match their true character, with consistent brightness when you switch looks. ARRI-Like now has richer shadows and warmer skin tones. 5. Faster lens switching: 0.5x and 1x respond instantly, and a switch made while a photo is saving is no longer lost. 6. Fixed the viewfinder jumping in size when turning filters on or off.

1. New "Record With Interface": turn it on in Settings to capture the viewfinder and controls in your video, with an optional full-quality clean copy. 2. Fixed a crash that could occur when returning from the album to the viewfinder. 3. Smoother album transitions: the photo grid settles in gently, and closing it hands straight back to the live view. 4. Album thumbnails and look previews load faster, showing sharp images right away when you reopen the album or turn pages. 5. To protect your recordings, the album can't be opened while recording, and the volume buttons and Camera Control no longer take photos while you browse the album.

1. Recording now starts with a deliberate slide past the trigger point; tap the red square to stop once recording begins. 2. After locking focus and exposure, slide vertically to adjust exposure directly while framing. 3. Customize the status display as one wide module or two compact modules, with shutter, exposure, Mist, film, threshold, or photo count. 4. Improved saving for photos, videos, Live Photos, and album edits, with more reliable preservation of location and the current look. 5. Fixed unintended lens changes and Black Mist reactivation while adjusting the dial, and restored fine haptic ticks for each step.

1. Added a master haptics switch to turn off vibration for photos, videos, and all camera controls. 2. Improved location settings with clear permission status, direct on/off control, and quick access to iOS Settings when permission is disabled. 3. Unified haptic feedback for flash and recording so the preference stays consistent across every shooting mode.

1. Fixed an issue where telephoto zoom could unexpectedly fall back on some multi-camera iPhones. 2. Lens options now match the cameras actually available on each device, reducing incorrect zoom choices across models. 3. While recording, only zoom options that can be changed safely remain available, reducing visual jumps and interruptions.

1. Fixed an issue where 2× and 3× showed the same view on iPhone 13 Pro, so each focal length now uses the correct framing. 2. Improved multi-lens transitions; photos and videos now wait until the focal length is stable. 3. Lens buttons and the current zoom value now follow your finger while selecting a focal length.

1. Improved the dial's touch area and initial response, so adjustments begin as soon as you move your finger in portrait. 2. Moved Lock between Flash and Record in portrait, keeping it clear of the dial and easier to reach.

1. Focal-length switching is easier: tapping briefly reveals every option for direct selection, while press-and-slide remains available. 2. Added optional location recording for photos, videos, Live Photos, and RAW captures, with a control in Settings. 3. Made album switching more reliable, so changing albums no longer shows items from the previous album.

1. Black Mist and film filters have been fully refined, with more natural diffusion and a clearer, richer film look. 2. The film list has been completely redesigned—and it looks fantastic.

1. Added RAW save modes that keep both the original DNG and a photo with your Black Mist and film look. 2. Added full English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese support. MistLens now follows your device language on first launch, with language selection available on the welcome screen. 3. Redesigned Settings and onboarding with step-by-step guidance directly on the camera screen. 4. Refined Black Mist highlights and Live Photo feedback for more natural bright areas, while keeping the shutter sound out of the motion clip. 5. Long-press frequently used film filters to favorite and pin them to the top. 6. Added native iPad support in portrait and both landscape orientations. 7. Made focal-length switching more direct: press and slide across lens options for immediate selection and smoother rapid changes.

This update makes framing and shooting with different aspect ratios more intuitive: - Added Live Photo to preserve motion and sound around the moment you press the shutter. - Added 3:2, 1:1, 8:10, 16:9, and classic XPan 65:24 crop ratios, with the final framing shown directly in the viewfinder. - Refined portrait and landscape controls so Live, flash, Lock, and recording stay clear and well separated. - Improved the viewfinder frame and letterbox treatment for a clearer sense of each crop. - Increased the default film filter intensity to 80% for a richer straight-out-of-camera look.

This update makes shooting, framing, and reviewing photos more intuitive: - Improved Black Mist and film rendering for more natural color and highlight bloom, plus a new ARRI-Like film look. - Preview Black Mist and film effects while reviewing photos, then save the current look as a new image. - Added rule of thirds, center cross, diagonals, golden ratio, and golden spiral guides; the menu now opens with one tap without triggering focus and remembers your choice. - Improved focus controls: tap to focus, press and hold to lock focus and exposure, and double-tap to reset. - Improved consistency between the live view and captured photos, refined the glass status display, and clarified onboarding.

The long-requested feature is here: Black Mist can now be applied to photos already in your album. Open the in-app album to preview the effect, then save an edited copy separately. Also added a new ARRI cinematic color filter, plus Black Mist quality and performance improvements.
