Turn the words you want to learn into your own illustrated story in seconds. Save new words, see them used in context, and build your own bookshelf. Free to start. Create your own picture books from the English words you want to learn. Tsumugi is a vocabulary app that turns the words you are studying into short, illustrated stories. Instead of drilling flashcards, you read your words in a story you made yourself - which is how they actually stick. Made for English learners, ESL students, kids, and anyone who has ever memorised a word and forgotten it a week later. ◆ HOW IT WORKS 1. Look up a word Type any English word. Tsumugi shows you the meaning, the part of speech, and its CEFR level (A1 to C2), so you always know how difficult a word is. 2. Save it to your word list Build your own vocabulary collection. Keep the words you want to work on and remove the ones you have mastered. 3. Pick your words and a genre Choose the words you want to practise, then pick the kind of story you are in the mood for. 4. Read your story Tsumugi writes an original four-page picture book using your words. Your chosen words are highlighted in the text, so you see exactly how they are used in a real sentence. 5. Keep it on your bookshelf Every story you create is saved. Come back and reread them any time - repeated exposure is what turns a new word into a word you own. ◆ WHY STORIES WORK Memorising a word in isolation is hard. Meeting it inside a story gives it context, emotion, and a picture to hang on to. Tsumugi is built around that idea: you are not revising a list, you are reading something you made. Because you choose the words, every book is tuned to exactly where you are in your learning - not to a generic syllabus. ◆ WHO IT IS FOR - Children learning English, with pictures and short stories that hold their attention - ESL and EFL students who want reading practice at their own level - Adults rebuilding their vocabulary who are tired of flashcard apps - Parents and teachers looking for a reading tool children will actually open ◆ FEATURES - Word lookup with meaning, part of speech, and CEFR level - Your own saved vocabulary list - Original four-page stories generated from your words - Target words highlighted inside the story - Translation support to check your understanding - A personal bookshelf of every story you have created - Available in 30+ interface languages ◆ FREE TO START Create stories at no cost. An optional subscription removes limits for readers who want to create more. Download Tsumugi and turn the words you are learning into a book only you could have written.
