What is Spotpilot?
Spotpilot is an advanced smart home product that uses powerful optimization algorithms to control your home batteries and lower your electricity costs. By continuously analyzing the electricity market spot prices, your energy consumption, expected solar energy production and weather conditions, Spotpilot ensures that your batteries are used as efficiently as possible. In short, Spotpilot charges the battery when electricity is cheap and uses stored energy when electricity is expensive.

To use Spotpilot, you need:

• An hourly price agreement with your electricity supplier
• A compatible inverter

• No hidden fees or monthly costs
• Easy installation – Start your Spotpilot device and the app will automatically find your inverter in seconds. In most cases, no installer is needed*.

• Multiple optimization modes – In addition to Lowest price, you can choose Maximum self-use, which, unlike the inverter's default setting, also ensures that the stored energy is used during the most expensive hours.
• Full control – Pause or change optimization whenever you want.
• Overload protection – The main fuse is automatically protected.
• Automatic optimization – Your Spotpilot device is automatically updated and improved at regular intervals.

• Power tariff management to automate charging with the lowest possible kW and thereby avoid unnecessary extra costs on your electricity bill.
• Support for controlling the charging of your electric car.
• Integration with your home's heating system for further optimization and energy-efficient heating.
We are continuously working to develop and improve Spotpilot with new features – but we don't release anything until it is tested, quality assured and meets a high standard. Therefore, we make no guarantees if and when future features will be launched.
