HOW IT ANSWERS
Vegan Scanner reads the label, translates it when it isn't in your language, and checks every ingredient against a built-in catalog of animal-derived ingredients — the obvious ones and the hidden ones: casein, whey, gelatin, carmine, shellac, L-cysteine, E-numbers.
Then it shows you the evidence. Every verdict names the ingredients it rests on, so you can judge for yourself. When a label only says "may contain traces", it tells you that instead of pretending to be sure. Never a guess dressed up as certainty.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Photos, extracted text and results are processed entirely on your device with Apple Intelligence. Vegan Scanner has no servers, asks for no account, and uses no advertising trackers. Scanned photos are deleted automatically once you're done.
That also means it works with no signal — on a plane, in a basement supermarket, or abroad on roaming.
