Great collection of vertical short dramas. Most stories are fast-paced with exciting plots,perfect for my commute. Sometimes a couple series end a little rush. Even so, I come back every single day. Highly recommend!

I would give this app zero stars if I could. I downloaded JoyShort and signed up for a subscription through the app. When I decided to cancel, I discovered there appears to be no way to actually cancel the subscription.The app tells you to cancel through your Apple subscriptions, but the JoyShort subscription does not appear there. I have searched everywhere in the app and on my phone trying to find another way to cancel and have found nothing.JoyShort says that if you cannot cancel through Apple, you should contact them by email. I have now emailed them multiple times requesting that my subscription be canceled and have received absolutely no response. I have not even received an automated email confirming that my messages were received.At this point, I am not willing to take the chance that they might eventually respond before I am charged for another subscription period. Since I have made multiple attempts to cancel and cannot get a response, I am going to contact my bank and report the issue to prevent another charge.It should not be this difficult to cancel a subscription. If you allow people to sign up and pay, there needs to be a clear and accessible way for them to cancel. Customers also should not have to repeatedly email a company with no acknowledgment or response just to stop being charged.I strongly recommend thinking twice before subscribing to JoyShort unless they fix their cancellation process and customer support.

Hello JoyShort Support,I am requesting that my subscription be canceled immediately and that no further charges be made to my debit or credit card.I am extremely dissatisfied with your service for several reasons. The sound randomly stops working while watching videos, many of the stories seem to be repeated from other apps with the same narratives and only different characters, and the subscription is far too expensive for the quality of content provided.What makes this even more frustrating is that your app does not provide a clear or simple way to cancel a subscription. Customers should not have to struggle to stop paying for a service they no longer want.I am requesting the following:1. Immediate cancellation of my subscription.2. Removal of any recurring charges to my payment method.3. Written confirmation that my subscription has been canceled.4. Consideration of a refund due to the ongoing technical issues and dissatisfaction with the service.Please handle this matter promptly. I do not authorize any additional subscription charges.Thank you.

There is no way to cancel as it forces you into paying outside of the app with a separate merchant. This means you cannot unsubscribe in your Apple subscriptions and there is absolutely no way to cancel in the app. I have emailed multiple times with no response. Developers have responded to other reviews that they respond to emails within 2 hours during business hours but I doubt they do that since I haven’t seen a response since I started emailing them. Notice they added a Refund Policy in the app in the last day or so…probably won’t respond to those requests either.These apps are legally required to provide an easy way to cancel and this is anything but that. Add a cancellation feature and respond to emails. Stay away…don’t download.
