I love this app. The full-screen takeover provides exactly the push I need to take a breath and get situated for my next meeting so I can arrive on time. Gone are the days of being a chronic late arriver. I love the design and the opportunity to make it all my own and I especially appreciate the one-click access to join meetings right from the takeover, too.

I have a bunch of screens in front of me pretty much all day. I’m heads down in things all the time. I miss the little notices that pop up in the corner all the time. This fixes that problem and I am very happy. Thank you to the developer for creating such a well-tuned tool to meet a specific need.

This simple little app is outstanding for reminding me of meetings. I’ve learned to unconsciously ignore the audio alerts. This has resulted in missed meetings. This app solves that issue for me, and highly worth it if you’re either highly focused or easily distracted.

This app requires the calendar to be open at all times. Being “old school”, for a number of reasons I prefer to keep anything I’m not using to be closed.

HeadsUp could do this without needing Calendar running in the background.Unfortunately, when we use third-party calendars like Google Calendar or Outlook, macOS relies on its Calendar app to keep that information synced and available to other apps. That’s how Yo! HeadsUp gets the latest calendar information and knows when to alert you.FWIW, if you’re only using Apple Calendar, iCloud calendars, and Apple Reminders, you don’t need to keep Calendar open.If there's ever a better way to handle this, I'll be sure to implement it. 🤓Thanks again for taking the time to point it out.Corey

- Alerts now take immediate focus—dismiss with ESC right away, no click needed - See which calendar or reminder list an alert is coming from, with its color indicator - Choose to show or hide calendar and reminder list names in Settings
