Real comprehensible input, not gamified drills:
Every text is about something real: a city, a custom, a dish, a piece of history. No XP points. No hearts. No artificial streaks. Just genuine reading that builds your language naturally.
BILINGUAL BOOKS, ONLY SHORTER:
Side by side reading works the same way here as in a parallel text edition, with the original and the translation one tap apart. The difference is that a text takes a few minutes, every one of them is narrated, and each one comes in an easy, a medium and a hard version.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Pick the language you want to read and the language you already speak
2. Where the pair has word tests, check the words of the text first
3. Read a text of a few minutes, in the original, in translation, or both at once
4. Listen to the professional narration recorded for it
5. In those pairs, every word you meet carries a knowledge level, so you see what still needs work
6. New texts keep arriving, a steady flow of fresh reading
Some language pairs carry more than the text and its audio: grammar cards where the pair has them, and, for Serbian, a map that ties the texts to the places they describe.
