Finally a game without massive paywalls. Without begging for outrageously overpriced in game art. Yes, there is a shop. But I’ve played countless and endless hours on end now and have been able to win tournaments, prizes and more rare loot just by playing more and being smart on my time. This game doesn’t get enough credit. Finally a simple game that doesn’t roadblock me and I can play all day! GREAT GAME!!!!!

this was my favorite game. I wrote the review that started "I'm afraid to say this," afraid that it'd change, and I'm sad to say that I was right. With these new updates, there is NO current way to unlock most land and barns. You now need "golden tools" instead of just coins from selling crops, and there's no way to get said golden tools. I've had the same main island for weeks and weeks. There is now no way to estimate how much time it'll take to unlock new land on your main island because it up to utter chance. You now need to sell your wood and stone in exchange for a kind of lottery system for different crystals. You used to just use your coin, wood, and stone. After spending all of the wood and stone I'd saved for weeks, I had 2/88 crystals to unlock a barn. There is no drive or motivation to keep playing, whereas I used to be able to see my progress and look forward to more. The psychology of this game is now that there's nothing to look forward to. And check the Discord; a lot of people feel this way. I'm just a writer lol so I can sort of put it into words. Every new update makes it more difficult to actually *play the game.* This game is supposed to be peaceful and pleasing. It was the BEST GAME I had ever encountered on the App Store before these updates and my favorite by far. We just want to farm, sell, and unlock new land and decorations. That is it. The home island and new fishing is cool but besides that I am actually on my hands and knees begging you to put my favorite game back together. Please please please. It is RUINED and I played it for HOURS every day and now I barely open it because I learned there is no point anymore. There's no replacement. Nobody is playing more often with these recent updates. Please please put it back!!!

I have been playing for quite some time and found this game to be very fun, but it has become annoying since the backpack feature was added. I can no longer unlock plots on my home island because I need too many gold tools, I have 4 lots of land waiting to be unlocked but I need a total of 19 golden tools to unlock those plots. I get the same items over and over that are useless. Playing the same thing each week and not being able to make any progress on my home island is extremely frustrating. I would rather grind for gold coins like the old way. And I know the response will be “the overall difficulty to unlock plots should be easier than before”, yes it SHOULD but it is not. Because I have played so much already, and I typically buy passes and items weekly, I’m trying to hold on for a better update to fix this issue but I’m not sure how long I can wait. Please listen to your players, this same issue has been mentioned a lot by many players.

I seriously loved this game. I sunk many hours into it and made friends! there’s a discord you can submit suggestions and compete in events, it was perfect! Now the developers are making this lovely simple game needlessly over complicated without fixing the already broken parts of the game. it’s obvious that they’re going in a direction that isn’t where they’re improving on the game, but creating more opportunities to make money. I don’t know how much longer I can hold out.I’d like to add that the discord is very active and has tabs where suggestions and feedback are made. these parts of the discord are literally flooded with the issues and suggestions on how to fix them. It’s clear that even though occasional suggestions are added to updates, core issues are not being taken seriously resulting in the loss of long time players. If the devs would like specific feedback, please just use the discord you already have set up. Also, if you’re making big updates to the game, please give a heads up before releasing.I understand why the update was put in place, that’s not the issue. The issue, is that when the update was made, they made the current player base’s upgrades almost impossible to get. it’s probably so much easier for new players, but for those of us that are a good way through it’s now incredibly frustrating instead of being fun. I’m sure it’s irritating hearing players talk about it in the discord, but It doesn’t feel like we as players are making any progress telling our frustrations to the discord or the email provided. Nothing happens.
