Bug fixes

We’ve uncovered a nasty bug that needed fixing right away. Unfortunately, this means we have to push a mandatory update for everyone already playing the game. We took the opportunity to also fix a few minor UI elements to make the game even more awesome. Don’t get left behind on the battlefield. Update now, lock it in, and prepare for war. The drones are waiting.

Feedback made us realize that most players were still uncomfortable with literally going outside to play a game. Since we’re building this game for our players first and foremost, we made the decision to pivot our game play to a AR experience without GPS features, so players can get comfortable playing an AR game. So, we built the first Augmented Reality First-Person-Shooter Gun Range. The real-scale targets, weapon handling, rankings and leaderboards create a shoot-anywhere immersion that turns everybody’s phone into a portable Gun Range. (yes, the Rite of Passage will stay be available!)

• New ways to log in: Sign in with Apple and Google. • Updated the Daily Quests panel with a reset timer, so you can see when daily quests refresh. • No more manual claiming, quests auto-claim on completion, and completed quests are shown after each mission. • We’ve added Google Analytics to improve the experience. Prefer not to share analytics? You can turn it off in Profile.

Mission Updates • Increased the mission timer to allow more flexibility during gameplay. • Removed missions that took less than 30 seconds to ensure a more consistent pacing. • Ensured a minimum distance of 50 meters between mission locations, fixing cases where pickup points appeared too close to each other. User Experience Improvements • Adjusted drone behavior: if drones are spawned too far from the player due to AR lighting inconsistencies, they will now automatically reposition closer for a smoother experience. • Minor user interface refinements for improved clarity and consistency.

-Improvements- Version 1.0.2. • Now missions keep running when you put the app in the background. To keep things balanced, while in the background, timers run at double speed. • Now you can file for deletion of your account and all of its date using a button on the profile page. Version 1.0.1. • Resolved logout delay. • Refined UI for smoother experience. • The Gear button on the map is now interactable only if you own gear items. • Added resend confirmation code + email change option. • Wallet connect/disconnect refreshes gear automatically.
