Progressing into an awesome app.

Updating my previous review. They have worked hard to fix a lot of the things that were really holding it back. It still needs work with translating complex patterns into smart patterns but it’s better than it was. It has all the features I want except a way to mark your spot when you’re using the pdf viewer. Other than that it’s the best app available right now. The developers are constantly releasing updates so I am confident this will be the best app available for a long time. Great work! Old review: This app has so much potential. It’s an amazing idea and really does combine all of the best features. The problem is they don’t work very well. The smart patterns don’t translate more complex patterns very well. And the app it’s self has a very long lag time and is not responsive. It feels clunky compared to other apps. I am still planning to keep my subscription because I think the app is improving and with time they will be able to make it work.

I absolutely love this app. As someone with a ridiculous number of crochet patterns and projects going at any given time, Loopsy has been a game changer for me.The ability to upload, organize, and tag all of my patterns in one place is incredible. I no longer have to dig through folders or emails trying to find something. The smart pattern creator is also fantastic because it helps me keep track of exactly where I am in a project.What really surprised me is how well it works for managing actual projects and orders. I can track pieces I need to complete, set due dates, and stay organized without juggling multiple apps or notes.Work Mode might be my favorite feature. I’ve finally been able to easily time how long my projects take, which helps me understand the real time investment behind the pieces I sell. While I’m in Work Mode I can also pull up the PDF of the pattern and even annotate on it if I need to, which makes working through a pattern so much easier.The yarn stash feature is also super convenient. Being able to scan barcodes to add yarn makes it ridiculously easy to track what I have, especially for larger brands.Overall, it’s an incredibly useful tool for makers. I’m excited to see where the app goes from here because it’s already such a great tool.

LOVE this app, but not reliable

I absolutely love this app and wish I could give it 5 stars. I have been using it for the past month to keep track of all my yarn stash and projects, and thought it was so incredibly well made. However, this app is sadly unreliable to use. It has lost weeks of my hard work and information twice in 1 month, with no support or resolve from support. I spent countless hours adding 50+ completed projects, 80+ patterns, projects in progress, and my entire stash of yarn and supplies information to this app, only for everything to suddenly disappear into thin air. Support responded to my first email, but disappeared after telling me they would look into it. Left with no choice, I spent hours re-entering all of the information I had lost, hoping it was just a one time issue. 2 weeks later, all of my information disappears AGAIN. I reached out to support again- they told me it is an ongoing iCloud sync issue, and has disappeared on me again. I wanted so badly to continue using this app, but the app has too many bugs, is not reliable, and support is also nowhere to be found when we need them. I sadly cancelled my subscription and am now asking for a refund.

LOVE this app, but not reliable

I absolutely love this app and wish I could give it 5 stars. I have been using it for the past month to keep track of all my yarn stash and projects, and thought it was so incredibly well made. Giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because I couldn’t actually try it. I am so frustrated and tired of apps not being upfront about needing to pay until AFTER I have spent time setting up my profile and adding my email so they can bombard me with spam. Then they slap in, oh yeah, by the way, now that you’ve put in all that time and became excited about our product, we won’t charge you now, but we also won’t let you try it until AFTER you’ve given us your payment information so we can lock you in to the paid subscription and bank on the fact that you’ll forget about cancelling it. That doesn’t make me feel taken advantage of (strong notes of sarcasm). JUST BE UP FRONT!!!! Why is that so hard??!!! It makes me want to recommend to people to NOT USE THE APP!!! Or if you really want to let me try it for free, LET ME TRY IT FOR FREE!! Then restrict my usage after a week or three days until I subscribe. If I want to continue using it, I’ll start paying for it and not feel taken advantage of. Believing in your product and earning my patronage and loyalty means so much more than tricking it out of me, doesn’t it?

The app is actually free to use with no payment info required. You can close the subscription screen and use the free version with no time limit, and Pro is optional. But if the experience made that feel hidden or forced, that's my failure to communicate it, and I'm fixing that first screen so the free option is obvious. Thanks for laying out exactly what felt wrong, it genuinely helps.

Move the floating counters to either side or tuck them away to keep your pattern in view. - Craft Without the Clock: Turn off Session Timer when creating or editing a project to craft without watching the clock.
