Clock Out: Work Stress Journal

Stop reliving work after hours

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

The 5-minute ritual that finally quiets work thoughts. One guided prompt, a clear end to the day — and your evening back. No account needed. If your brain keeps looping after work — replaying meetings, second-guessing emails, rehearsing conversations you'll never have — it's not a stress problem. It's an unfinished-business problem. Clock Out is a 5-minute ritual for the moment work ends. One guided prompt surfaces what your brain is still holding. Write freely. A closing reflection signals completion. Your mind finally gets to stop. —————————————————— WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT —————————————————— This isn't meditation. This isn't journaling. Clock Out is built for the 10-minute gap right after you shut your laptop — before the scrolling starts. • One guided prompt — no blank page paralysis • A 5-minute container (it ends when it should) • A closing ritual that signals: today is done • Weekly summaries of mood, clarity, and balance —————————————————— WHAT CHANGES —————————————————— • You stop replaying conversations at night • You're actually present in your evenings • You fall asleep without decisions looping • You start each day without yesterday's residue —————————————————— PRIVATE BY DESIGN —————————————————— No account. No tracking. No ads. Your entries are stored on your device and protected with an optional app lock — export or delete everything, anytime. Weekly summaries are generated by a secure AI service; your writing is never sold, shared for advertising, or used to build a profile of you. Clock Out is a self-reflection tool, not a substitute for professional mental health support. Try it tonight — five minutes is enough to feel the difference. https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

This update makes the end-of-workday ritual feel even more intentional. We refined the evening reflection prompts — they're sharper at surfacing the work stress your brain is still holding, so the mental closure happens faster. The weekly summary now shows your mood and clarity trends side by side, making it easier to spot which days you struggled to disconnect and which ones you wound down well. A few people told us they were using Clock Out mid-morning to debrief a rough meeting. We didn't design it for that — but it works. So we got out of the way.
