How each word works:
Play an emoji game to get used to the spelling of the word
A story featuring the word 5–10 times in context
A word search game to find synonyms and antonyms
A final quiz — pass it, and earn a flashcard for your collection
Five extra word games keep learning playful and introduce new words along the way, complete with their meanings.
Color-coded flashcards show what needs revisiting:
Green — learned in the last 30 days
Amber — 31 to 90 days ago; time for a refresher
Red — over 90 days; needs review
This built-in spaced repetition nudges learners back to older words, so vocabulary doesn't just get learned — it stays learned.
After exploring the stories, learners reinforce their understanding through interactive quizzes and fun mini-challenges. These activities are designed to be friendly, low-pressure, and engaging, helping build confidence as well as vocabulary mastery. Each correct answer strengthens word recall, while gentle hints offer extra support when needed.
The app includes a structured and growing library of high-value vocabulary words commonly seen in 11+ exams, the SAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, and IELTS. New words are added regularly, ensuring learners continue to expand their language skills in a consistent, enjoyable way.
Learners can easily monitor growth through the app's progress tracking system.
