The app itself seems to be very polished and easy to navigate however there’s no real opportunity to connect with others besides going to events or seeing fans of places. But the biggest thing is, despite the “craic” notes you can post, there’s no real review feature. There’s nothing worse than going to a self proclaimed “Irish” bar only for them to completely diminish our culture by serving black and tans, hanging up “Irish need not apply signs” and the owner forces a bad accent!A review based feature can ensure the integrity of our culture abroad and show other Irish people where the real gems are, while avoiding the terrible places. While clicking in and seeing some of the notes, seeing star ratings would also be very beneficial.
